A few sights linking us to 21-year-old Milan attacker Jens Petter Hauge, formerly of Bodø/Glimt, Zinckernagel’s old team. Would be a very good signing. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/w...sfer-swoop-for-attacker-from-european-giants/ https://sempremilan.com/cm-milan-wi...ight-price-everton-wolves-and-watford-alerted
I'd be absolutely fewmin' if I were an Udinese fan and they lose de Paul and we get Hauge as part of the deal while they have Pereyra, a crippled Geri and bloody Pussetto!
I think there was a report not to long ago about Milan wanting Sarr but were not able to afford him. The alternative was using player exchanges to lower the fee. Hauge was one of those players mentioned. He was also a player mentioned in a deal with udinese for De Paul. Can’t see us signing him outright, but wouldn’t be surprised if there it’s a loan with option to buy. With Milan reportedly “interested” in Sarr and De Paul, if that’s true, then I could see Milan working with us in favour of them getting one of Sarr/De Paul in the future.
Strange one because he started well for Milan but is now getting no minutes at all. Would be a fantastic signing imo, Bodo's best player the season before at 20 years old. He is going to be one hell of a player given the chance.
Think that was PZ7’s problem with the championship as well. Granted he did ok. I would like PZ7 to bulk up this summer like Pedro did. If we sign Hauge, he needs to do the same.
I don’t know if I agree with this, if you look at someone like Bruno Fernandez he looks borderline anorexic. Look where getting bulked up has got Deeney. If you’re good enough it doesn’t matter what build you are, if you’re not good enough and bulk up then you’re just slower and still no good. With PZ it’s more about getting up to speed with the pace of the game and decision making. I don’t see how being physically bigger and heavier would help a player in his position in the slightest, he’s not a holding midfielder.
He is too weak and easily gets pushed off the ball. The positions that he plays, he needs to bulk up. Just like Pedro needed to, he needs to. You can’t compare PZ7 and Bruno, that’s just ridiculous. Bruno is literally one of the best players in world right now in his position, so of course it doesn’t really matter about his build as much. Technically he’s almost flawless. PZ7, very similar to Pussetto, is too weak for the English leagues. He frustrated me this season, when we were seemingly in a promising position, only for him to be pushed off the ball far to easily and we lost possession. Not saying he needs to bulk up like Deeney, but he definitely does need to bulk up a little, again, just like Pedro needed too.
I agree with both of you @Markoa$ and @a19tgg I'd put it that PZ7 needs to toughen up rather than bulk up. Definitely needs to get with the pace of the league and take better care of the ball. Also to calm down in front of goal, has got in some excellent positions and often seems to miss the target. He does have some talent for sure, hopefully will work on his game and show it in the Prem.
Is Iceland technically in Scandinavia? Probably not geographically, but I suppose it is culturally. Rotted herring or marinated puffin as a Christmas dinner treat, anyone?
Technically, a western dialect of Old Norse, out of which Norwegian & Faroese also developed. Danish & Swedish developed from other dialects of Old Norse.
