Gracia says he's seen our games this season so hopefully signings will start to come in soon in our problems areas.
Huge amounts but under the surface. Gino moves in mysterious ways his wonders to behold (remember last Sunday)!
Oh I don't know! I've just washed my hair and had my supper of spinach gnocchi with stir fried vegetables. Tomorrow I may have noodles instead of gnocchi.
Dull isn't it, from a transfer perspective at least. This has to be the quietest Pozzo window ever, normally linked with 50 people I've never heard of, we don't sign them but at least we can pass judgement based upon no knowledge whatsoever. Bored.
It’s concerning. Even with the state of the injury list the club seem to think we genuinely have available players that are going to keep us clear from the drop. I disagree. We need a couple of loans in to replace some of our woeful underperformers and freshen it up.
Frankly the whole thing makes a complete mockery of Duxbury holding court to the national press in November and giving it the biggun about our plans for January. And given he hinted at plans for the future there too it starts to introduce some doubt about the reality of those too.
Good move. I feel a need to Gnocchi the Gnocchi. Its like eating flavourless thick paste. A real waste of chewing.
The injury list seems to be getting worse rather than easing. I really can't see where the 3-4 wins we need are going to come from between now and the end of the season with the decimated squad we have. The shot in the arm that a couple of new first-teamers would bring is so important and there is no-one of that ilk being strongly linked with us, only with our relegation opponents. Any new manager bounce will be gone immediately if we lose to Stoke in 2 weeks.
Not so worried about the cup. First game, decimated squad, might play experimental side etc. The Stoke game is everything. Win there and the mentality will change dramatically. Lose, with the window having closed, and an even deeper depression will engulf us all.
I think there is 4 scenarios that are possible... 1. We genuinely are happy with the squad and the injury crisis is close to easing (even if we are still being kept in the dark, which I find disgusting given what we were old over a week ago). 2. We are working on deals that no one knows about. 3. We are waiting for deadline day to see some movement from others to see what becomes available. 4. We are sifting through more Udinese reserves as we speak, knowing that Gracia won't be vocal about them...unlike Silva. I really hope it's option 2. I can understand option 3. I wouldn't be against option 1 - if its certain players coming back soon. Don't get me started if it's option 4. The worry is that we urgently need defenders first and foremost. If we are doing minimal business, that needs to be the focus. But if we are planning on doing quite a bit of business, have we left it too late to get genuine quality in numbers through the door?
Sounds a bit iffy to hear Grazia say we don't have a lot of money. Not heard a Prem team say that for a while
Remember the Richarlison transfer! No warning. No rumours. No threads about it. It just happened! I'm confident things we don't know about are being worked on!
I suspect we had players lined up but then Silva thing got progressively worse which then made it very difficult to sign players not knowing what style the team will play
I think we’re all bored as there are not even any rumours but how many of those rumours have any legs. I’m sure they are working bloody hard to get people in as we can’t rely on injured players coming back.
For us to sign players, pretty sure players will have to leave. And ones who have been told they can go are probably waiting until deadline day...
