all of them would be nice, as three of the ones listed arent prolific goal scorers which is what we are looking for. and no thanks to kilgallon, hes part of the shoddy defence at leeds that are sitting something like 3rd from bottom

There is no chance Nugent will go anywhere in January if PNE are in the top 6! If they were in the bottom 6 then yes, but lets face it, that won't happen! PNE don't have to sell Nugent and he'll probably want to stay to keep them top of the league! Ellington is playing in a team that looks like it won't get in the top 6...bendtner returns to Arsenal in January, as does Lupoli and also Rossi to Man utd....M.Bent is a fair shout, but would Charlton sell him to us of all teams? Carlton Cole possibly? He's falling down the list all the time! Or we could gamble and try to sign someone like Eastwood, Billy Sharpe or Andrew Keogh from the lower leagues! Izael Mcleod?
M.Bent has been very good recently but isnt being played Ellington isnt scoring in the fizzy pop league and is lazy I wouldnt take any lower league players except Nugent Or Edwards
Nugent isn't going to go from top 2 championship to bottom 2 premiership. Simple as that. Healy scores for N.Ireland against mickey mouse teams and the odd big team like Spain who like England never play to their potential. Healy is championship standard. Speaking of Leeds, why would you want a defneder who's part of a defence that play for a side lingering down the bottom of the championship. Edwards or McAnuff would be nice and both sides are struggling in the champsionship. 2 strikers are needed. Who would come i don't know, the likes of Sharp and Eastwood are a big gamble. If people are suggesting Nugent then why not Robert Earnshaw. He's scored goals at premiership level and wouldnt' cost anymore than Nugent would. Rossi on loan would be nice.
Little Chance We have little chance of signing Nugent in january as much as it would be ideal for our situation in my opinion. Hes connected with so many other clubs in the premiership all higher up in the league than us, all with more money and almost all of them nearer to where he lives. The only minimal chance we have is if he meets the charizmatic Boothroyd.
i think hes a good player, just not getting picked for charlton while dowie was in charge because hes dumb Collins John said he doesnt want to leave fulham and would cost to much to persuade him
Earnshaw not prolific! He scores goals for fun, kept west brom up with the goals he scored. Would be an excellent addition to us if we could afford him.

Quality players = Big Money..... which we don't have, ok, 4 or 5 million perhaps but that goes towards wages aswell, sign on fees etc To get a decent prolific finisher in it's going to cost us the bulk of our transfer fee.... but theres no point getting someone like Nugent if we are just going to keep hoofing it up to doris.....
Zoltan Gera - can play wide in the middle or up front. Isn't setting the CC alight but has show he can cut it in the Prem. Contracts nealry up and WBA are struggling Marcus Bent - Has scored goals at every club he has been to, isn't prolific but we only need about 10 goals from him. would we get him though? Carlton Cole And another battler that can play CB. I think Jay could play Mahons role quite well and it's probably cheaper to bug a CB than a ball winner
