Bad news. On the flip side he hasn’t been playing well recently and perhaps a chance for one of the other guys to fill in. Hopefully the time out may help him sort his game out when he comes back.
Bit of a sick note really which is a shame for him. Still, if you had to pick one player from our starting XI who has been the least impressive and contributed the least so far this season it would be Janmaat - so if anyone has to get injured, I’m happy it’s him.
Janmaat has been bloody outstanding and kept most of the opposition hotshots out of the games. He and Holebas have been key to our successes. Brighton, Burnley and Spurs tried to target us with crosses and starting with Solly March, all their wingers were swapped over as they couldn’t outpace or out muscle Janmaat. The Fulham equaliser came about because Bobby P gave them the freedom of the right and central midfield as he couldn’t challenge or tackle. I despair Daryl is some sort of whipping boy for some who can’t see what’s going on.
Been much improved this season and hopefully this is an injury in isolation and not the start of the jinx. I expect Navarro to come in purely because he’s been good in the 2 games he’s played and Gracia hasn’t chosen Kiko at RB at all since he’s been here. I think he’s thought of as a midfielder now.
I wouldn't have gone quite so far with the praise, but I also thought he's been pretty good. He has had some tremendous left side players against him, and has generally done well. In fact, there are no regular players that I would criticise at the moment. But there will all have dodgy games and spells.

As she moved from Miami aged 3 months, I believe it is safe to call her a New Yorker. Almost the quintessential New Yorker. Incidentally, she was born Angela Trimble & then adopted. I hadn't really considered camp funtime before seeing this.
Sorry, but no. Janmaat is a very good player. I was delighted when we got him from Newcastle. He is one of the better crossers of the ball at the Club. He is also tremendously experienced and even inventive. You are right when picking on his proneness to injury and I would say he is a little on the slow side, but not by much.
Many American pronunciations are close to the seventeenth century English originals. This is about as far as our special relationship with them goes.
The things that Janmaat does best though are offensive actions, not defensive. He’s certainly got better defensively this season I will say though. Personally I think Kiko makes a better RB than Janmaat. And Janmaat would make a better RM over Kiko.
