We keep hearing that TC is out until "the Autumn". In my book that starts in about 3 weeks ? Are they using the "looser" interpretation of "Autumn" to mean January ?
As cover I don't see any problem with Livermore. I suppose we could sign no one and rely on Ashley Charles and centre back Ben Wilmot to fill the gap. There's no point buying an international midfielder or throwing money at a loan and have either that player or one of those currently at the club mooching about as 4th or 5th choice if we get them fit at any point, which by the way, seems to be the case bar Cleverley.
Weren't we interested in him when he was at Spurs? Perhaps the recruitment team are just going through all the old files and remembered him as a home grown option we could get. seems likely Cleverly wont be in the squad until January
