Agreed. Nurture him right and he'll be ready to start for Everton next season.

Honestly, when the commentator said he was going to be subbed, I genuinely forgot he was on the pitch.

We obviously paid a serious amount of money for this lad, that is not his fault but he's going to be saddled with it. He's looked a little rabbit in headlights so far but hopefully that will change. His true asset at the moment appears to be pace and the minutes he's had have tended to be against teams defending deep. He hasn't done much wrong but agree I haven't felt he was a snip at £35m. Hopefully he develops a bit, we play him on the wing which I think is his natural position and he gets a chance to stretch his legs and show us what he can do.

Understanding the feelings but I really don't want to knock a young lad because we seemingly paid over the odds for him.

We shouldn't be writing off a young lad, in a different Country, in a different league, and in a new team that is struggling, on the basis of a couple of hours. That is ridiculous.

I’d like for us to get the ball into space out wide, where he can run onto it, rather than the quite ridiculous role he seemed to playing yesterday that involved drifting inside to make room for Cleverley to roam down the right flank. Now, I do like Cleverley and think he’s the sort of player we need in this hideous situation we find ourselves in, but he’s not the man I want out wide trying to send in crosses.

I agree that Sarr looked a bit useless yesterday, but I can only imagine he was as confused as I was at being asked to roam inside, where there was zero space and collect the ball with his back to goal, rather than being out wide.

He’s a winger, a rapid winger at that. The few times I saw him play last year for Rennes, he frequently caused havoc by sprinting onto the ball in space and getting in behind.

Then I remembered the dark days of QSF, and the constant calls for one of our wingers to beat a man out wide and send in a cross, rather than cut inside and make a square pass. It would appear that Sarr is the new Jurado.

    We’re ****ed.

Called up by Senegal. I'd rather he stayed here with us if I'm honest, letting his man go on Saturday cost us the first goal and I'm sure Quique would rather work with him at the training ground. Maybe he can pick up an injury like Spurs, Liverpool and City players always do, only to return for the next league game?

He'll be glad to play for so long.

Probably means hell be too tired for the Spurs game!

All those fouls suggest that he might have been dangerous. OK, Brazil aren't Sheffield United, but maybe if Florrie asked him.to play in his natural position, pushing the ball past the defender and running like the clappers, he might be dangerous for us too. Or at least, win some free kicks that Holebas can punt into the Rookery.

He really should be at his most dangerous away from home which is why I'd like to see him, GD and Welbeck all start away from home.

Put it this way, if QSF keeps us up but doesn't play him, QSF wil be gone in the summer as you don't spaff £40m on a player not to have him in the matchday squad.

I've heard he has a muscle imbalance and one leg longer than the other.

The club are working with Adidas to create an orthopedic football boot.

Didn’t take us long to suck the talent out of him.

I watched him several times last year for Rennes, and he was really exciting to watch with his direct running and ability to attack in space.

Yet, within weeks of joining us, he looks utterly incapable of forging a career in professional football, let alone justifying his price tag.

It’s like we injected him with the touch of Gray, and the bodily coordination of a toddler learning to aim his piss at the toilet.

Worryingly, Pepe has looked equally as useless, and he came here with a far bigger reputation for wrecking defenders. If he’s struggling to adapt to life in this league, it would appear Sarr has no hope.

Well we haven't played out wide except against Coventry - no chance for him to use that pace and any crosses have no one in the area !

Time will tell but seems like buying Sarr for double what Saint Maximin cost Newcastle is another Pozzo masterstroke.

Apparently Sarr left the stadium on crutches and needs an MRI to work out the extent of the angle ligament injury. Might well not see him again this year, what a terrible start to his time at Watford.

Let's hope it's not an acute angle ligament injury. Could be a protracted recovery.

Feel a bit sorry for him to be honest. Not had a decent run of games to get up to speed which makes it even more ridiculous that people are saying he's not good enough. Our new manager plays a system that doesn't suit him either. Then goes and gets injures again. Cant catch a break.

People saying its 30-40m down the drain. He's signed a 5 year deal I think. Still loads of time to for him to come good.

Hopefully he's not out too long.
