Especially after their visit to our London Colney training ground.

Not sure Gino thinks about softening the blow.

Yes will be more about hiding the fact we have £40m extra to spend.
I do think there is a strong chance that Doucs will go this summer and that we will struggle if we do sell. Gino may feel we have a plethora of CMs but other than Capoue, they are way short of being able to contribute what Doucs does.

Yes I think this will move on quickly one way or another once the Asia cup final is concluded.
In a twist I'm hearing there is a possibility it's actually Ishmael Miller we are after.

Excellent, need somebody for the Oulare role.

As long as it's not Gina Miller we will be ok.

Could be Glenn Miller. Great when he's in the mood.

Glen Miller is Missing, if I remember rightly from the Rock Follies.

No, “missing” was everything but the girl.

The greatest sporting Millers are, surely, Keith & Mick The.

Gino needs to consider sales from shirts & muzzles on this one.

I think he completely destroyed us one time when he played for WBA. Possibly the game where the illusion of Boothroyd being competent was finally shattered as they utterly battered us from start to finish.

Did he not also score against us for Boro at the Vic when Steve McClaren was spotted crouching down in the dilapidated Family Stand?

I think you may be right, long ball wasn't it?

He ruined our defence (in particular Joel Ekstrand) when Yeovil beat us 3-0 at the Vic too.

Yes that was what I had in mind when I posted. He's one of those players like Ince who save their telling impact appearances for when they play us.

Actually Eye Know was of course De La Soul.

    Now that I didn't know.

That Yeovil game... We had Bellerin in the same defence as Nyron Nosworthy. Sean Murray was still dropping to Dundalk-standard. Bond was in goal.

That squad was extremely unbalanced and it was so sad to lose Zola. That said, worked wonders to get automatic promotion the following season.

I am watching this space closely over the next few days. If there's going to be an announcement, it will be by Wednesday at the latest. If not, then the deal is most likely off, unless there has been some unexpected delay, in which case there could be still work being done in the background.

It's a crucial time for this one. Make or break.

I feel confident the Ts will be crossed in time , but it’s always the dotting of the I’s that causes delays .

I’d imagine Gino has probably recruited one of the best I dotters in the business . Some hard nosed Italian who has born with a black marker pen in his hand, who wore hard on his mother’s love for constantly ruining the nursery walls with incessant indelible black dots .

    Trust in Gino

I've heard that we have in fact crossed the "i"s and dotted the "t"s due to using a dodgy spellcheck program. Back to the start I'm afraid.
This is going to accelerate forward or back, or maybe remain unmoved once the Pacific Rim Inter-Toto Cup Thing Final has been played.

We all know Gino is using this transfer as a smokescreen, to sign a player from the Norwegian B league on the sly. Valued at £4m, and we'll get him for £3.2m.

What an epic summer it will be.

It'd be utterly astonishing if there was a player from the Norwegian B league valued at £4mil.

The last major transfer out of the Norwegian Second Division was a right-back to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga for €150k.
