Two songs to the tune of each other might give us Drive In Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.
Nothing surprises me. It only disappoints.
How about The Laughing Gnome as a Gracia tribute?
You'll have the legend turning in his grave.
“Siri, what does regret look like?”
Apparently he turned up for his FIRST day of training today!!
Unlikely he'll be in the squad on Saturday then. Maybe on the bench to give fans a boost, but unlikely to play I would have thought.
No training before today ? Attitude problem - get rid.
Looks like he had to be escorted to the training ground. Presumably they were worried he was going to do a runner.
If he is fit enough to draw a 70k pw salary he is fit enough to play
I guess any delay was work permit related? Would probably explain why he couldn't even train earlier.
Looks like first day at prison.
Imagine so. Even EU players require a few days of international clearance.
It's just dawned on me that he's going to be the biggest flop in the history of our club FFS.
Ellington at 10x the price
I doubt it, we'll be relegated before he's even ready to make his first appearance and he'll be sold off in the summer to Lille for a few £mil less than we bought him for.
Carrying his stuff in an old bin liner, perhaps we should club together for the 5p to buy a Farm Foods carrier?
Or given a few days to pack up his life back in France?
Listening to Aladdin Sane earlier and all I hear now is the Troy Deeney chant.
Probably only be a sub next week and come on after 65 minutes for Hughes...
My first album.
Garson’s solo on the title track boggles the mind.
Well going to be a lot of pressure on the kid now!
Not sure how he'll fit into the rigid 4222
Ziggy was mine. I can't go a week without listening to the great man.
Do you have the Nicholas Pegg book?
No I don't. Do you recommend it? Supposedly there's some real crap out there.
Sarr will soon realise his level, just as Delofeu and Pereyra are coming to terms with the fact that they’re never going to play in the Champions League again. There isn’t a single big club looking at them now they’re at Watford, they’re probably not even noticed by the small clubs. Their time at Barcelona and in Serie A is well behind them. If I was Sarr, I would look for the big move in the January window before it’s too late.
He's "one for the future". About to be loaned to the Spanish second division.
They just need a little more luck.
The Complete David Bowie is supreme.
It has individual pieces on all the tracks he ever performed (400 odd) & longer narratives on all live work & the albums. Shorter sections cover film, paintings & the rest.
Not a sequential biography but, as he was so prolific, you get a rounded portrait of his artistic output & impact.
Not for the casual reader so much but a work of assiduous research, measured analysis & huge affection.
As an added bonus, Nicholas Pegg was a dalek.
There are 3-4 good biographies. I’ll have to remind myself after the cricket.
He looks so so miserable in every clip WFC put out. Given they are cherry-picking, I guess he is just in tears the rest of the time.
Or just a typical 21 year old !
First training session today apparently. I figured he'd have had the whole week ahead of West Ham.
Should surely be ready to go (or at least be on the bench) for Saturday then. It's hardly as if he's had an extensive period away from the game.
What are they saving him for? Man City away? Get him on the pitch!
From the report it sounds like he was on a separate fitness programme over the last week - so he has been training but not with the team. I guess that is like a mini pre-season before joining the main training.
Not sure what that means for the West Ham game though.
