So after a dodgy start to the season we brought back QSF to sort out the defence and boy has he. In the last 3 games we have conceded just 1 goal away to Spurs which arguably should have been disallowed. Other than that we have not shown the opposition many sights on goal and those we have have been easily repelled by Ben Foster. So it seems certain our 3 game unbeaten run will extend into something special. How far do you see it going? The longest unbeaten league run I can find on Wikipedia is 104 games held by Steaua Bucharest from 1986 to 1989, is this a realistic target? Right now I find it hard to see where the next loss is coming from.
I'm up for this. Glass one-fifteenth-full optimism and all that. I can see it now - wave upon wave of Chelsea attacks breaking fruitlessly against our back eleven. And then on comes Dimitri...…...and the rest is history.
Are you going for the world record for shoehorning in a reference to a great day out with lots of flags into every forum thread possible?
It won't last, due to we have a silly mistake in us. Also, we have played argulaby three mediocre sides, two of whom we should of beaten. Foster got us a point Saturday and ideally that would of been a loss. Wait till Kiko overcomes his "illness" and puts in a two footed lunge in the 90th. We are defending better, but I can still see better sides getting through. If we could score at the other end, perhaps conceding the odd one wouldn't matter so much. Problem is, we need every point we can get.
