    I think that's why there were 10 or 11 released in the summer and a similar number bought in. That group had developed to a certain level and it wasn't high enough. Over half of those released are still without a club while the 4 or 5 who are employed are non-league (bar Ben Tricker (18) who went to Fulham's u23 squad).

    Jakubiak seems to have found his level with loans at Bristol Rovers and now Gillingham so I guess will be released at the end of the season as I think that's when his contract runs out.

    Folivi is a couple of years younger at 21 and has been out with a back injury.

    Maybe they are not good enough. Maybe they showed promise hence Watford signed them but like hundreds of others they just can’t kick on. This is not down to our youth set up, it’s just how it is
