    I mean, this competition is no different to our friendlies. Most of the players are periphery players.

    All for a decent competition like this and it sounded like a good idea but it's basically everyone's b teams with 2 or 3 first teamers.

    Is everyone in the US of A so desperate to see these teams that it matters little who actually plays!

    I loved the Ibiza tour of 2003ish and I'm sure most of them were first team regulars, even if they were all pissed up in the evenings.

    Such a shame that pre season friendlies are so money driven now.

    Sometimes the crowd don't even turn up if the stars aren't playing!

    Then of course all these clubs soon moaning about players being tired having travelled long distances.
