Just scanned and there is nothing wrong with my computer, no spyware or malware and no other viruses. Hope this helps Adders.
Thanks Dom. Well the issue has been happening between 10 and 11pm every evening so I made sure we run no services during the hour, then started monitoring user connections and server behaviour. Bang on 10.15 the memory usage went through the roof and the site was temporarily unavailable. I checked every users connection and all were very low. This is not down to us in any way. Waiting to see what the hosts have to say now.
Sounds to me like an automated process. A backup, virus scan or search engine trying to cache the site.
Seriously slow loading times tonight of all pages once I actually get on the site. As usual, between 10:15pm & 10:50pm.
Yep, we're aware of the issues at 10.15 every night. It's becoming a bit of a nightmare now, but we're continually working on it.
I appreciate the rubbish you're putting up with re. the hosts so sorry for sounding like I was moaning, tried to sound informative & casual but failed - sorry Admin.
When people are pointing out downtime, obviously, if the forum is down then you won't be able to do so on here, so you can report it via twitter to @wfcforums.
