Can't say I've seen him play but here's what someone on Reddit said (who does):

    Knight GT Predictor extraordinaire 2013/14

Apologies, I didn't mean people had made it up, I worded the sentence poorly. £15m, if correct, does seem a lot of money. I'm more interested in why he's not playing

If he's only capable of 15 goals a season he can **** the right off..

Straight to warm the bench of a Belgian club. He's never going to set foot in Hertfordshire.

He sounds like Amrabat, which I think is a decent fit for this squad/our predicament

    He really didn't.

I've never even heard of this dud. Get rid as soon as he signs say I.

It's another Pozzo-to-Pozzo transfer, the fee means sod all.

They probably didn't even care that much about the player, just wanted to move some dosh around.

If that's what Gonzalo 'Pity' Martinez is capable of managing, then I'd love to know what kind of stats Gonzalo 'Miracle' Martinez is capable of.

We should sing this from the Cornetto advert.

    Just one Pussetto, from Udinese
    Giraldi's wet dream, from Italy.

  11. Burnsy

    Burnsy First Team

    Inaccurate.

Everyone knows Giraldi’s wet dream is signing our existing ageing defenders to new contracts.

Sounds more like a signing to fit in with the Pozzo accountant's tax liability planning strategy to me

15 million smuggled off our balance sheet, with that obviously inflated fee

Doubt it from a Watford perspective.

    1) we have £53m brought forward tax losses
    2) player costs are amortised over length of contract in any case.

Might be to solve some cashflow issues though. Or I suppose to crystallise a gain at Udinese if there is some Italian tax loss that expires soon for some obscure reason.

Anyway, he just met NP, wet his pants and got back on the plane to Italy. Not happening.

Best to apply the Zaphod Beeblebrox method and have a year dead for tax purposes.

Once again, ignoring our desperate defensive, wafer thin options to add an expensive substitute. Great work Grimaldi.

It’s ok he makes more tackles than most forward players, slot right in to left back for the u-23’s

Primarily because wages and operating expenses are 90% of turnover. Player amortisation is already £40m per annum. Adding an extra £3m per annum by buying Pussetto is a drop in the ocean.

If you like your hoppy beers you are likely to develop these.

Don't like my beers too hoppy, prefer the darker or Ruby malty ones. Still you are right though, could do without the man boobs.

He's a clown alright Giraldi. Pussetto should have been brought in when he was at Huracan. We still do not scout Argentina enough and could have had some bargains. We still need defensive replacements too.

Me too, IPA's are the bane of real ale. Too many competitors trying to out hop each other.

If, as reported, he's a replacement in the squad for Success than this is a massive upgrade.

I've never seen him play, nor watched a YouTube highlights video, nor read anything about him or even heard of him yet I have never been so certain of anything.
