At least I wouldn't overrate the lamppost, and it would be more efficient.
Erm, excuse me but this police officer here was on the Portsmouth tourist board.
Why would you assume he's gay? I just assumed that this was the uniform of the Portsmouth Police Force. Maybe he is gay, I don't know. Either way, for a man from the gay capital of the UK, you seem remarkably homophobic!
What isn't to like about a town full of closed-minded bigots?
Brighton is the 'gay capital of the UK', allegedly followed by Manchester and London.
Your list of bullsh*t is growing.
I can't actually recall seeing one gay person in the three years lived there. The complete opposite maybe!
And you'd know that, wouldn't you?
I bet you're fuming that they've stolen Portsmouth's crown.
Who doesn't know that?!!
I can't figure out if you're uneducated or under-educated.
Depends whether or not he went to the University of Portsmouth.
One of the biggest Criminological institutes in Europe, second biggest behind Cambridge in the UK, they do the probation training and contributed towards thousands of worldwide policy changes (not to mention contributing towards much of the sexual offences legislation, anti-terrorism strategies and forensics).
The days of moral panics and events underpinning changes in legislation have long gone.
Go and gain some knowledge then come to me. And when you do you can read my paper into the PCC proposal, consisting of 27 from the 43 police forces contributing towards it.
Law for people who couldn't get into law, so take the 'next best thing'?
I have an LLB.
Great. Which university awarded it on behalf of PortsmouthPoly?
You keep mentioning Poly...
Don't know where I'll be going on holiday yet this year but do know where I won't be going - Sochi
It's so sad it's funny.
That time of year again. Thinking of booking today.
Name a place?
And I forgot about the real purpose of this thread!!!
Sicily. I need to book too - you do the hard work for me & let me know what you come up with.
Good deals in Ukraine.
Admittedly, my geography is poor but I didn't realise Ukraine was in Sicily
peddling this beautiful country again
Galápagos Islands. Although my own holiday will probably be Salvador, Bahia
I've been guilt-tripped by my family into visiting the UK this summer. What a massive waste of a holiday. Hopefully it'll coincide with the 2 weeks of reasonable weather you sad acts get every year.
I might go to Devon, as I said I would previously but never did. Has anyone been to woolecombe bay? Is it nice? I've found a deal for £150 four nights... Seems good to me.
I lived there for a couple of years. It's a great little place. The beach is beautiful, there are some decent bars and restaurants in the village. Highly recommend a visit and that is a really good price. Where would you be staying? I absolutely loved living there. Also, the Castle Hotel is owned by John Eustace's old man. Or at least it was when I lived there.
Panama for me this year towards the end of June. Not somewhere i'd ever thought of going to be honest
Thanks for the info! It's in a caravan, which doesn't sound that great but it looks alright. For the price I can't complain! I think the caravan site is within walking distance to the beach. http://www.woolacombe.co.uk It's on this site.
Ha, I know the owners. The beach is easily walkable. Not sure who you're going with, but I'm guessing with that price it's before the summer holidays start, so you'll not have too many families around. If you go for it, PM me and I'll give you some more info.
I'd love to go. Let me know what it's like.
All these sorts of holidays are currently on hold for me as I've got two kiddywinks under two, so this year we went to Cape Verde in March, I'm going to Cyprus next week for a week and then we're going to Rhodes for a week in October.
Exotic stuff will wait until they are older and able to appreciate it safely.
No problem. I will let you know what it's like for kids as mine are 4 and 2.
As if Cyprus isn't exotic enough.
Cheers mate! Appreciated, is the place nice? Yeah looking to go with my girlfriend first week of June really, hoping for nice weather!
Going to the lake district in a couple of weeks and Finland/Estonia in October. Might do Switzerland in September depending on which city England play in.
