Not in Tring. Nothing forecast before 8pm and then 25% or less after that.
Nearest rain currently in England is at Taunton.

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view but it's not sane
    It's not sane
I just want someone to say to me, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
And I don't understand why sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain

First barbecue summer for decades and I got rid of mine back in May.

    Typical

    Stormy here in WGC.
Power cut at the vital moment of Carreno Busta V Basilashvili and enormous thunderclap a while back.
    Something in the air?

Yeah, I had a laugh at that too. Still, when I’m 70 I guess I’ll have a bigger laugh as it tops 45c.

Played golf today and it was boiling. Tried to drive out of some trees and caught the foliage in the follow through and fell into the fairway. Ball went about 20 feet.

I must admit I got stopped by a woman saying isn't it to hot for your dog, I just wished I'd asked her husband the same. But alas I was to slow.

How hot exactly is it? Tarmac sticking to the bottom of your shoes or trains cancelled because the tracks have expanded to dangerous levels.

Yep, yesterday I was at the beach at Dunwich Heath. Today it’s back to wfh. Put a suitcase away in the loft at lunchtime and it was 40C up there, about 28C in the garden.

Suffolk with the sunshine, lovely countryside and coast is our uk holiday destination of choice.

Dunwich is nice, quiet with good walks. Decent beach for a swim too.

    Was the cafe open?

Let us hope idiots do not start fires as they have been doing over the last year. So many precious reserves have been damaged by thoughtless dimwits.

Or you can go to Dartford itself and see the Dartford Wobblers, with around 90% of the population comprising of drunken stumbling wobblers, drugged crawling wobblers and obese jiggling flab waddling wobblers.

Very happy for them to go up in flames.
Dartford warblers though are clinging to survival in the UK as they don't migrate and tough it out in the UK. A really harsh winter and their numbers are decimated.
