Hi there,

I'm Faith, I live on the south coast, just outside of Brighton, I have been a hornette for almost ten years, I have a lot to thank my ex for, he took me to my first game and I haven’t stopped going since!!

I regularly look in on the official message board but honestly I’m too scared to post on there as they all seem to just constantly slate each other, so I thought I would post on here as you all seem to be much nicer

I saw your post about what to wear at matches, and the one above so I wanted to ask you this....

Why are you nervous about posting on the main boards, when travelling alone on the train doesn't seem to phase you? I bet some of the 15 year olds who give people a hard time on the main boards aren't allowed on a train alone. You should post something there, I think you'd eat them for breakfast

 

Seconded. The best thing about boards is you can make up a whole persona and say what you want. Any come back is only against that persona. Like here where I am a nice unassuming character, whereas in real life I'm a 6'6" fireman who ooks a bit like a cross between Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Understandably I find it difficult to talk to people in real life as men are scared of me and women just keep fainting.

Admin, it's not just trains I travel on alone, I went to Denmark this summer to see the friendly out there by myself, funnily enough that didn't scare me half as much as the replies I would get when I have put posts on the main boards! And no I didn't find the email, it wasn't in my spam folder or any where else?!

I look forward to having some entertaining discussions too!!

I think I will have to have get some graphics etc on my posts though as mine look a bit boring in comparison to all of yours, although it may be a bit too over my head bearing in mind the problems I had just registering!!!!

 

Foster26 is our resident graphics expert. She designed several of the member signature pictures and the main banner at the top of every page.
