2 year deal.
As per Leventhal in The Athletic.
Exclusive for @TheAthleticUK
Vladimir Ivic will be #WatfordFC’s new head coach. 2 year deal agreed.
Full details and background on the Serbian who will take charge at Vicarage Road
Lord Leventhal who I told you all is ITK and never wrong, drops another exclusive!
Will be announced as new Marseille manager on Monday next week probably still...
I’m so happy! Really wanted him over Struber. He’s a no nonsense winner! Just what our players need. Sarr’s Interview now makes sense, “I'm not leaving Watford because my new head coach is someone who could have me killed and my body never found.”
Is Vic there?
Still not too late for Bournemouth to poach him...
Definitely a "no one gets cramp at this club" face!
What is Richard Hughes's username?
Looks like he won't take any ****, that's for sure.
Just the thought of the 4th official on the sideline next to him is literally making me smile.
4th official: “5 minutes injury time”
4th official: “4 minutes?”
Ivic: *shakes his head*
4th official: just feckin blow the whistle ref.
Giraldi KO'ed day one then at London Colney hopefully.
Imagine the club hate Leventhall so much they've done him again.
Also, this guy will take us back up as Champions. 7/1 get on it.
From reading the article:
Seem’s he’s been on our radar for quite a while.
And his Serbian assistant who has been with him everywhere and Greek GK coach are coming with him.
Stuck £50 on him when I saw Leventhal's tweet & somehow got 15/8. All markets suspended now.
Not sure how I feel about the appointment though, never heard of the bloke!"
Happy with this
Absolutely fantastic. The one I wanted.
A winner! Doesn't matter what league, all about the mentality.
Things look promising.
“Hard as nails and ruthless” two lovely ways to describe him.
Just what the doctor ordered.

Dont **** with me
Quote from Deeney after hearing the appointment: "he's the best coach I've ever worked with, and has treated me like a man for the first time"
Go on the Vlad.
I've not yet seen a picture of him smiling.
I give him 6 games
Was literally going to say the same thing.
Every picture of him online is him staring as if he is about to kill someone, love it!
Milos Vesselinovic aged 40 will be the assistant. Has coached Stuparevic at Vozdovac. Christos Kelpekis will be the goalkeeping coach. He is aged 48 and coached at PAOK Salonika before joining Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Him or Struber made sense.
Gino saving £1m is also perfectly normal practice.
Is that the club’s official statement?
We’re going to have the ugliest looking staff but who cares when they are clearly connected to Clive.
I like the sound of this guy . Similar record to Joka when he arrived . I think if we can leave him with a decent squad we will do well .
Although it's a risky appointment, his profile is very good. He's got all the attributes we need.
Of course he could be a spectacular fail, but we've got to back him. If we keep the bulk of our squad together, and I'm sure he's been given assurances on that, then we should do very well indeed.
I think the fans have taken the news positively if not a little cautiously, which is understandable.
I'm actually happy about the appointment, more than I thought I'd be. This could be an exciting season after all.
Not a happy clapper then?
I could lend him a flag...
