Back end of February I had a sore throat for 2 weeks or so. Bit wheezy and a bit of a temperature, along with a bit of an unsettled stomach. I'd also had a dizzy/weak spell but put this down to moving a load of furniture about prior to decorators coming in at my folks place. No persistent cough but did have an infrequent one for a while. I didn't think much of it then but did isolate to be careful.
I can honestly say I've not been 100% since though which raises my suspicions. I've still got a bit of a tickle in the throat and the odd aches but I am getting old.

I was incredibly careful just before and indeed during the first month of lock down and I'm still pretty much isolating now as I have to support elderly parents one with Parkinsons. Currently working from home on an enforced 3/5 days contract but enjoying the extra free time if not the salary cut as well as grocery deliveries.

I've been offered "have you got it?" tests, both free and paid for as part of some research schemes, but felt that as I'm middle aged and pretty much isolating, and have been for months, the testing resource will be better used elsewhere. I'm interested in taking the have you had it test, but again see myself as low priority, not wanting to take resource away from those that need it most.

Early March, last day before they closed the office, had a bad headache followed by a weekend of bad sleep waking up in sweats, hot and cold. Two weeks of dry sickly cough.

Think I may have had it but not sure camp, here.

Myself and my girlfriend both had similar symptoms in January, and neither of us usually get ill. Aching muscles, fatigue and the worst cough I've ever had. Worst of it lasted about 3 weeks, but I still felt my chest getting slightly tight when breathing in up to about a month ago. Also feel I'm unable to cover as much ground playing football, although I suspect the 6 months without playing and the less-than-ideal eating habits during lockdown may have played a part...

Mine was so bad, I strongly suspect I went straight for the Covid-20.

Before it was declared a symptom my ex (who I share our dogs with) called me and said both her and her mum had completely lost her sense of taste of smell. Her office had just been shut down as 4 people had Covid and one was in hospital from it. I felt a bit weird for a week after, sore throat, tired, cough, aches pains etc. So it’s possible I had it.

The ex still complains about being short of breath etc.

Incidentally a mate was adamant him and his family had it in Feb, him his wife and two little girls. He said they all came down with a type of flu, and were all bed ridden, but, they all got better within a couple of days, he said it was weird because normally with something like flu they’d all be ill for a week or more.

Anyway; his wife is a nurse so got an antibody test recently and tested positive, so they did all have it after all.

Had classic symptoms. Sore throat, then Cough, then bad fever for 7-10 days, terrible headaches, lost taste and sense of smell, breathing deteriorated. 2-3 weeks to fully recover. Not aware of any long term impact. I ticked the "tested" box as public tests not available then but wife had same symptoms for same 3 weeks and had confirmed test due to NHS role and has confirmed antibodies.

Another for the "I strongly suspect I had Covid but didn’t have the test" camp. At the end of March I completely lost my sense of smell and taste for 2-3 weeks, no other symptoms other than a tiny pathetic cough

Most winter's I seem to get a chest infection and around end of February I had the same symptoms I get every year, however, this year I suffered from breathlessness and a very persistent cough which lasted around 6-8 weeks. It could've been a severe chest infection but also could've been Covid. Couldn't test as at the time I believe it was only tested upon hospital admissions? I took a test in the Summer as my Wife had symptoms and both came back negative. Just had another test as one of my Colleagues has tested positive 2 days ago, just awaiting the result.

Seven people at my work now self isolating. The whole thing is very boring now!

Littlest one came back from PGL camp late Feb and a week later we both had 'mild' 'flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, nausea), self-isolated (plenty of fluids, forcing ourselves to eat, monitoring our temps and dosing with paracetamol and ibuprofen) for a fortnight but we didn't get fully well so I called 118 for advice. I pretty much had put the 'phone down when there was a knock at the door and opened it to two 'paramedics'. They got permission to enter my home (risk assessment from HQ) when I pointed out that neither of us was having a cardiac event. They fully examined us (didn't take samples) and we told to keep on doing what we were doing and us a choice got with them to A&E or go to the GP next morning (they got us next day appointments with our GP - it was worth it to hear the paramedic ordering my med. centre's receptionists/harridans to give us emergency appointments the following day). GP looked us over (O2 levels) said he saw nothing to concern him and told us to keep doing what we were doing.

By the following Sunday (15th March) we were feeling fully cured (3 weeks after being ill) my son returned to school and, because we had a thoroughly miserable time, we planned to spend Saturday afternoon in the pub (lunch, backgammon, chess and watching the football) as a treat on what became to first day of lockdown (21st March)...

  11. I've had no symptoms at all and strongly suspect I've not had it. I'm in a tier 1 but where I live is almost completely surrounded by tier 3 up here! 10 minutes in pretty much any direction is tier 3.

I also had Covid 20 but protested to my MP and it went away.

I had a strange bout of constipation (most unlike me!) & listlessness in July, in the middle of which I took a Covid test sent out by UCL as part of their random survey into its prevalence in society. Result came back negative, so I assume it was just some sort of weird other lurgy. Slightly worrying at the time.

I think I had psychosomatic covid due to watching the news too much and Chris Witty freaking me out on adverts.

Back in February me and my wife had about a 4 day illness which think might well have been C19, but we don't know for sure?

I had both of these in quick succession in late March.

Also had a negative antibody test although I know Mrs Keighley attended an event at which many of the attendees got Covid in mid-March.
