This is just not true. I, for one, rarely agree with what Clive says.

The reason you were on your own in the BBC thread is that others, including your “allies”, do not share your view about BBC bias. However, you persisted in your view notwithstanding all of the arguments put against you. I certainly wasn’t “hounding” you, nor were Sydney and UEA. You were just unwilling to move a jot. That is why you can be so frustrating to debate with.

... but frustrating though it can be, we have to accept that you feel strongly, just as (I hope) you accept that I and others feel strongly on occasion and will defend our position with the same vigour as you do. I don’t see any problem with that and I don’t think it is “harassment”: from what you post above, I don’t think you do either.

As I said, I actually don't think people even read the posts I make. You have quoted a paragraph posted by me that mentions that polls. The poll on the BBC bias that clearly shows that the there were 15 posters that said the BBC was biased to the left or were biased towards remain, yet you completely ignore the fact and claim, yet again, that no one shared my view. Why do you quote a post, but ignore what it actually says?

I also said that the fact that I was often arguing the case on my own makes it feel like hounding or bullying. I clearly did not say that I felt you, Sydney or UEA were hounding me personally. Please, just read what I write, then comment on it. But don't guess what I am writing and then make it up.

As for you and Clive, you may not agree with what he says, but I havn't notice you having a disagreement on the forum with him, which would illustrate my point. But if you do, then I apologise.

Amazing that the people that are always banging on about the world going soft and too much political correctness complain of "bullying and harassment" on an internet forum when their views get challenged (for the most part politely). You can't make this stuff up.

Let's have an actual example then, so we know what you are talking about, because you may be doing just that.

Perhaps to avoid misunderstandings in the future zztop should change his avatar to something that reminds those who are not his allies to make sure they don't do anything that makes him feel hounded, bullied or harassed?

    Something like the above maybe?

Has ZZTop reminded everyone again that he 'left' this section for a couple of weeks once?
