3rd relegation for me. No complaints really - it's been a shambles of a season.

7th for me, out of all of them I would say this one we have had more chances to get out of it than the others, just that we haven’t taken them! I’m sure someone will do a list in the coming days!

I worked out a few years ago (about 15) what our average league Finishing position was! It was around 14th in the “ 2nd” of 4 divisions, would think it would be a bit higher after the last 5 seasons! I will have another go unless anyone knows the answer!

Would be the third relegation in my lifetime, although on the second that I'd have any recollection of

Yet again HB1, it's nice to see you agree with what I have been saying on here.

A word you left out that I would have used is "HOPEFULLY"just before your sentence "Watford will be motivated....." we would all hope that they would automatically be motivated .......... "to levels we've not seen all season", but that is the big question I have in my mind, WILL THEY?

If they are I expect us to at least get a point from this game, and HOPEFULLY The Spammers will, as I would expect, beat Villa, then whatever Muff do will be of no significance at all.

This is most people's line of thinking, it's all about us and Villa.
Villa will lose today, we will lose today and Muff will win. It's highly likely yet the bookies are literally giving away free money on that exact scenario.

    Muff will survive.

I'm on it. A tiny consolation if it does happen.

I said something similar in the relegation picks thread.

Everyone writing Bournemouth off. No-one talking about them. It’s all very quiet. I’m not going to be surprised at all if it’s us and Villa down, with Bournemouth surviving.

Not so sure Muff will win either, they might get a draw at best, but I don't think they will win, so they are probably down, all that remains is who will go with them IMO

Muff 9-1 to stay up. We are 11-4, Villa 2-5

On the 5 live panel earlier, most went for Villa to stay up, but there were one or two who went for a shock Muff survival.

    Nobody fancied Watford.

Perhaps that's where we're at our best, when nothing is expected of us and we're given little hope.

I’ve backed us to go and Muff to stay up.

4th relegation for me today, but this has easily been the meekest ‘fight’ against it.

Probably change my profile to Estupinan-CUCHO!!! and launch a foul-mouthed gloat to the mainstream meeja, while if we lose as expected, I'll be like 'never liked the Premier League anyway!' :D

Obviously I'll be watching the cricket today (weather and time permitting) and the darts is on later, a young Belgian lad made the final, hopefully our lads wearing his national colours will play as well as he has all week!

Seventh relegation, which is one less than the eight promotions. The worst was the Mike Keen back to the fourth. Shocking with the squad we had. The bright side was a month later England thrashed Scotland 5-1 in the Home Championship

I believe I'm correct in saying that out of the 7 relegations l go back only yesterdays and the 1975 one (into the old 4th div) were the only ones which were decided on the last game, with all of the others being done and dusted with games to go! anyone else echo these sentiments?

    5th.

I'm consoling myself with the fact that Cork are the only county in the modern era to do the Senior GAA double.

Not sure about trust, just don't think such an extreme example is likely.

True enough but had we won that, we would still have gone down as the team just above us picked up points.

Looking at the table before the match, it must have been the case as Millwall who were 3 points ahead of us came down with us, implying that Portsmouth must have won.

Correct, but the point in answer to Teide1 is we weren't relegated before the final day.
