Not sure if Tuttomercatoweb in Italy have mistakenly linked us with the wrong Carillo, but they are suggesting that the 26yo Argentine playing for Monaco is wanted by us for £12m

I've seen him play for a total of about 10 minutes, when he came on as a sub - so can't give you too much insight.

He was tall and strong, and linked up OK. Didn't really do much else. Wasn't quick. Can't imagine we'd sign him without selling either Deeney or Okaka, as they do the same job. Think he has a decent goal to game ratio, however he had ridiculous players supporting him last season.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think he would be a signing for Udinese. He'd suit Italian football.

Not sure of the plural but the collective noun is Carriole of Carillos, much in the same way as a Corpse of Capoues or Abomination of Amrabats.
