As you can tell from my username, I'm a West Brom fan but due to work I am moving to Watford and I am keen to get to know my new local club.

Notice you guys seemed pretty unlucky not to go up last year, although looks like you have made a flying start to the season! What are your predictions for the year?

Also looks like we are going to be signing Vydra on loan, can he cut it in the Prem as he always looked decent last year?

 

Scored in the Europa league 5 minutes after coming on the other day ... so he should be good enough for a tinpot midlands club.

 

And here was me thinking I would get a mature and grown up response

 

On Tuesday 25th October 1977, I attended West Bromwich Albion's stadium to see Watford play them in a league cup 3rd round game.

Not only was a clear goal denied (when Luther Blissett hit the underside of the bar and it bounced down a yard over the line), but several so-called supporters of West Bromwich made the winker sign at our coach as we were leaving.

Never really had much time for West Bromwich, nor their "supporters", since then to be honest.

Find your own way around.

 

Not old enough to remember the 70's, but my understanding is it was a pretty intense time regarding hooliganism??

Either way, in recent years I can't remember many occasions when our fans have played up.

Shame about the hostility, I'll be sure to get my map and compass out.

 

Ignore them jap. Best thing to do is browse around here for a while, ignoring the in jokes and inanity, watching a few highlights shows or reading the local paper (Watford Observer) online.

Vydra will stay at Udinese and in January if we are looking at a promotion charge, he will be told he's going to Watford for the rest of the season.

 

What if, Vydra joins West Brom and we get to the FA Cup final and play West Brom?

The man himself has said he's got no offers from a Premiership club and Pozzo said after Sunderland's loan bid was rejected they're not interested in loaning him out.

The order of preference for Vydra loan whilst Pozzo Ownership:
Wanna play in Italy? Yes its Udinese
Wanna play in Spain? Yes its Granada
Wanna play in England? Yes its Watford

I dont see WBA in that list..

 

He wants to play in the premiership, I think Vydra to West Brom on loan is very likely.

 

How much of a loan fee do you think he will command for a season then??
