Having visited Europe, Africa and South America in the first 3 days, the representatives were feeling pretty tired. They left Santiago to return home.

Prague returned home and headed to his house near Wenceslas Square. The city of Prague had a lot to offer but they weren’t interested in hitting the town tonight – it would be straight home for them.

The city had another visitor that night though. The other representative decided they would make the most of their time in the city, having a few Staropramen in the Old Town Square. They had the perfect view of the Astronomical Clock and watched as it ticked towards midnight. With a little time to spare, they left their bar and proceeded towards Prague’s home.

Prague was sound asleep in his bed when the wolf came in. The wolf had navigated the house without waking Prague and in the end he would never wake again. One strike of the claw and Prague was dead – his bed covered in red blood.

    Prague was good.

Elsewhere, the other wolf decided to head North from Santiago – they fancied an American meal. The arrived at Denver’s house but it was eerily quiet. They sneaked in the front door and couldn’t hear a sound. After checking every room, it was clear no-one was home. The wolf was hungry though, so they decided to wait. It would be worth the wait.

The Guardian decided they would protect Krakow tonight. The wolves eyes’ were elsewhere and The Guardian had another stress free night… until they decided to return home that was.

A quick hop across the Atlantic and The Guardian had made it back to their house. ‘Ugh, only a couple of hours until play resumes tomorrow. I need some sleep.’ A quick nightcap of bleach was had before heading to the bedroom. They opened the door to the room and sat on the bed waiting was an impatient wolf. ‘What are you doing here?!’ shouted an exasperated Denver. ‘I had come for dinner but it looks like it’ll have to be an early breakfast’ declared the wolf as he charged a defenceless Denver. He tore his teeth into their flesh and the red blood poured out.

    Denver was The Guardian.

    Today's Mayor is Krakow.

Voting closes at 6pm tonight. (10 minute safety net to 6.10).

Please try not to vote using your normal account, but if you do then just leave the vote as it is and don't vote again with your city account.

One final thing - although the game is anonymous to an extent, normal forum rules apply. Nothing crossed a line yet but each day has gradually got a little worse in terms of personal attacks - it is just a game at the end of the day. This seems to be a little worse than normal games and possibly due to the fact everyone is 'anonymous'.

As the duly appointed Mayor, I'd like to make the following statement:

    "FFS!"

    Statement ends.

Awful day/evening, Santiago's behaviour threw me off completely, I was certain that was at least the traitor.

We now have no Guardian now so need to get today right.

  4. Nairobi

Bad night, but I have high hopes that our Seer will strike a wolf today. I think the best chance we have is that we have a good, experienced seer. I hope they've spotted the likely suspects through the sea of confusion.

  5. Oslo

    Oslo Academy Graduate

    Oh Crap Sorry Santiago
OK we need to have a look at who Denver and Prague voted for ,what they have said so far etc etc

  6. Nairobi

    Nairobi Academy Graduate

The seer has a 3/7 chance of viewing an evil player today. If we can clearly identify their message instead of the wolf's we HAVE to Lynch an evil player tonight.

  7. Venice

    Venice Academy Graduate

Morning. The pool of players gets smaller. We know some certain good. We know the tinker is dead. The Seer needs a quality viewing today.

  8. Elche

    Elche Academy Graduate

Big blow. Guardian becomes more important as the game goes on as more likely to choose same person as one of the wolves.

As an aside, do people reckon the wolves know each other yet? Obviously they haven't met on a kill yet but is it likely they know each other through patterns of play?

  9. Jeddah

    Jeddah Academy Graduate

Very annoying all round. Santiago wasn't evil and Denver was clearly a good player and will be a big loss..

We need a good viewing today by the seer.

  10. Quito

    Quito Academy Graduate

Unlikely, but the traitor will know who both are so might be worth seeing if there's any voting patterns that have emerged

Just a heads up, I wont be online until about 2.

  12. Jeddah

It's worth taking a look, but important to be mindful that some players vote late and therefore can blend in with the crowd.

Well that was a bad night. I wasn’t convinced of Santiago’s guilt. We need to look at who was leading the charge against him.

  14. Jeddah

I assume you mean me? As well as Denver (Guardian) and Oslo (Mason).

  15. Oslo

I can help you with that when I voted circa 5pm ish I was the 2nd vote , Bad play by me I was convinced he was team evil , I got played pure and simple .

I have been going through day 3 and found the debate between Nairobi and Prague of interest in particular post 171 and 180 amongst others whether there is anything in that I dont know , the way I have played so far probably not , but have a look anyway .

  16. Istanbul

Someone is doing a good job of leading us astray. The traitor is playing a good game, and I have a good idea who it is.

I wanted to defend Santiago last night, but was concerned that if I was wrong Id get lynched.

  17. Istanbul

    Istanbul Academy Graduate

Indeed , and Nairobi very quickly voted against me when I questioned him. He also provided a flimsy explanation as to the reasoning he voted for me, along with the fact he was the only person to vote for me.

  18. Elche

Today is probably the key viewing for the seer and could make or break it for good. Hopefully they look at some of the people throwing accusations out yesterday.

  19. Tokyo

Krakow is the last mayor too I think so let’s hope he uses his double vote for the end of day lynching wisely.

    Nairobi needs to be viewed.

    Ergh, awful day.

I haven't really understood The Guardian's selections, why Krakow last night? They weren't really involved.

  22. Venice

    And who voted for him.

    Day 3 voting:

    Istanbul Nairobi*, Athens, Moscow
    Nairobi Istanbul, Prague
Santiago Quito, Oslo, Venice, Jeddah, Denver, Krakow, Elche

Krakow was confirmed as good yesterday, so I understand the logic there.

    Less so the previous nights.

  25. Krakow

    Krakow Academy Graduate

Ok as Mayor I'm going to show leadership.

Looking back on yesterday, the following had 'run ins':

    Santiago & Athens

Prague and Jeddah v Nairobi (don't know why but posts #177 and #180 peaked my interest - maybe the wolf is setting up Nairobi)

    Istanbul and Moscow
    Istanbul and Nairobi

Denver was suspicious of Nairobi & Athens.

Nairobi was protected the first night and I still don't know what happens if the Guardian protects the wolf - perhaps @TheGlobe can clarify - I'm not suggesting he is a wolf just seeking clarification on the rules.

Looking at the voting, Quito, Jeddah & Elche are unknowns. Tokyo has flown under the radar somewhat

Those are the first observations - I'm continuing my analysis.

    Nairobi likes this.
  26. Jeddah

    Jeddah Academy Graduate

All good points. I agree with nearly all of it, except I'm not sure why you think the wolf is setting up Nairobi?

Nothing atypical happens if the Guardian protects an evil player. It just appears as a standard visit.

  27. Nairobi

    1. I was one of 3 people to vote for you
    2. I explained I was going to vote for you, long before you voted for me.
    3. I still believe you are evil.
    4. Your stated reason for voting for me was ludicrous.

  28. Nairobi

    Nairobi Academy Graduate

Either I am the Alpha wolf and I named myself as good on Day 2, then took out the most obvious player accusing me last night, or the wolf is setting me up.

If I am the Alpha wolf, then I deserve to be lynched, as that would be the dumbest, most transparent wolf behaviour I could possibly imagine, other than changing my name to Wolfy McWolf Face and howling at you all.

  29. Jeddah

    Jeddah Academy Graduate

I definitely don’t think you’re the alpha wolf.

You could technically be a beta wolf, who was accidentally named by an alpha though.

Personally, I don’t think you’re a wolf. You’re drawing far too much attention to yourself, whereas wolves usually pop up after being quiet for the first few days and suddenly take on much more of an active role

If you are evil, you’re most likely to be a traitor.

  30. Istanbul

    Istanbul Academy Graduate

    1. I was one of 3 people to vote for you -Correct , my mistake as the vote panel stated only 2 votes for me and both from you as Mayor.
    2. I explained I was going to vote for you, long before you voted for me. - And ? That has nothing to do with what I said. You didnt explain your reason and happened suddenly when I started accusing you.
    3. I still believe you are evil. - You know Im good because you are the traitor.
    4. Your stated reason for voting for me was ludicrous - No it wasnt, it was rationally and clearly explained.

  31. Krakow

    Krakow Academy Graduate

I'm just putting it out there, if I were a wolf, I'd look at who's having a spat and then possibly go for one of them, the spotlight would go on the survivor. Until the wolves know each other's identities then it's every wolf for himself.

If we find the traitor then we can deduce who the wolves are and vice versa.

Any danger of the seer springing into action? Not a good day to go missing

  33. Nairobi

    Nairobi Academy Graduate

The seer and Wolf are playing chicken. Because the Seer gave up their method yesterday, the Wolf could easily copy them. Both want to post 2nd.

I wonder if that's why Elche is so keen to see the Seer post?

  34. Elche

    Elche Academy Graduate

Surely most of the villagers want to see it? Will either confirm another good or give us our first evil. Even having both messages gives us something new to go on. At the moment, we're none the wiser than yesterday.

  35. Tokyo

    Tokyo Academy Graduate

This is turning into a weird day. I’ve been off working for a couple of hours and am surprised to come back to find we’re no further forward. Nairobi’s comment about the wolf and seer playing chicken makes sense though I guess. What happens if we go a day without messages? Has that happened before?
