I voted for you as you were first to push the narrative on the messages.

Of course I'm going to be defensive...I'm an innocent in the firing line...had you been named in the messages, I wouldn't be sticking my neck out and say message 1 was the Seer on the first day.

 

Soz Helsinki but I also feel the 2nd message was more seer like. On day 1 we have nothing but that.

 

I have voted for Athens. Just feel his post which I quoted earlier was trying to prevent discussion from taking place, which imo is only helpful to evil.

No matter how early we are in the game, interactions between players, and people giving their thoughts on anonymous messages can be very helpful to look back on later on the game. Athens was pretty much saying we shouldn't be doing any of that.

 

And yes I am fully aware of how tenuous that reasoning is.

 

It could just be one of the less experienced players thinking out loud?

Well I did think Istanbul was iffy and still do.

But obviously now have to wait to see how my vote counts if I am to try and stave off a lynching by evil and mistaken good.

 

I've voted for Krakow. I don't think he's evil based on anything, but then, I've no reason as yet to suspect anyone else either, so it's nothing personal. I have to vote for someone and I don't see any reason to vote for anyone more than our Polish friend.

I believe the first message is the seer due to the second message chucking out the line of French. That being said I don't think Krakow is evil, with nothing else to go on. Sorry Krakow.

 

Well if it's going to be a 2 way shoot out between the named players then I'd rather go Krakow based on their reactions today.

 

The people of Prague have spoken.

Given a highly difficult task to make any sense or educated predictions on Day 1, they have deemed it best to use some of the content of the messages to make their decision.

Nothing personal Helsinki... I just feel the additional content at the bottom of the second message may well be a certain writing style. Think we could see something similar tomorrow.

The Mayor's double vote has now been added for Helsinki.

 

It is a 2 way shoot out now so everyone will understand why I'm voting for Krakow. I don't think he's evil but know for certain that I am good.

 

I have voted as others have to tie the day up, this might be best decided by a game of chance.

Kracow has been a tad too defensive for my liking but I think the second message was from the seer. I decided earlier I’d follow the mayor and with him voting for Helsinki, it’s Czech Mate for the Finn.

 

Always going to be a tough call and it's pretty much pot luck today.

 

I'd guess the first message is more likely to have been the wolf. For that reason alone I've gone for Helsinki, even though it's likely to be complete pot luck. Sorry Helsinki.

Were it not so neck and neck then I'd have gone for Oslo instead.

A few teething issues to be expected on Day 1.

As it stands two users have voted on their own accounts. As mentioned, I will reveal who voted for who at the end of the day.

One user also voted with their city account (this was my fault as I didn't know I could hide the options on a poll that is in progress).

Krakow has 1 less vote than shown above.

 

I think, on balance, neither Helsinki nor Krakow are likely to be evil but I’ve gone with Helsinki, hoping that the second message was the Seer’s and that this will become clearer tomorrow.

 

Some folks on here are misguided and others are plain bad.

Not a great start team good and personally disappointed at getting killed on day 1 of the anonymous game :/

 

Just a few minutes left although I'll extend the deadline a little if a couple are outstanding.

Voted in a hurry as didn’t want to miss deadline and regretting my vote as, after reading the posts again, think I should have gone with Krakow. Don’t think it’s going to make a difference though.

 

Sorry work went ballistic, I clearly wasn't done for the day.

Voting Krakow based on the over defensiveness, that's all I have to go off. Really sorry!

The city representatives had decided it was Helsinki who would meet his fate this evening.
They all boarded flights and landed at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
Security was lax and they were able to smuggle a gun through with them.

The 20 representatives decided they would meet each other at the airport.
However, there was a bit of a delay with two of the planes...
When they eventually arrived, the Mayor questioned the players.
‘Apologies, we had the wrong names printed on our boarding passes’.

Now together, the 20 advanced on Market Square, where Helsinki was residing. Little did he know what awaited him.
The Mayor kicked the down the door to Helsinki’s office and proclaimed ‘We have you now, vile wolf!’.
Helsinki, in a panic, grabbed the two closest things he could find on his desk – a square and a compass – to defend himself, but it was too late. He was surrounded.
‘After so many of my people gave their lives at the Battle of Howling Mountain, this is how I’m treated?’ begged Helsinki. His words were in vain.

The Mayor loaded his gun with a silver bullet and with one shot, Helsinki was down. The 20 representatives clambered round the lifeless body to see the colour of his blood.

It was red.
Helsinki was good.
