Always came across as a nice guy. Can’t believe he was 65, and that’s still way too young to die. Thoughts and best wishes to his family.

    Sad to hear this .

    RIP.

Remember he took us to 7th in the 94/95 and gave Kevin Phillips a chance plus bringing in the likes of Mooney and Ramage .

    Such sad news.

    He was a lovely man.

I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing him a couple of times when he brought Watford down to the West Country, to play Tiverton and Taunton.

As a manager, he did a terrific job in getting us to 7th place in the Championship, before sadly budget issues and other problems then saw us get relegated a year or so later.

A great player (I seem to remember before he joined us he scored the winning goal for us when a Newcastle player in an FA cup tie that I think took two replays to settle), decent first season as manager and a gentleman off the pitch.

    RIP Glenn.
