Get these players out!!

Get the following players out this club ASAP

Ben Foster : completely past it. Looks like he doesn’t give a t0ss. Asking for a Man City player’s shirt after a performance like that is inexcusable. Get rid

Heurelho Gomes : Like Foster, completely past it. Kept on at the club to be a translator/ social worker. Our number one and two keepers should be Daniel Bachmann & Pontus Dahlberg. Time to bin Gomes

Kiko Femenía : where do I start with this clown? He’s at fault for so many goals yet gets picked each week. He does not have a Scooby Doo how to defend, league two full backs defend better than this *****. Stealing a living.

José Holebas : As bad as Femenia and equally at fault for as many goals. You would think being in your mid thirties and played professionally for fifteen years, you’d have some idea how to defend. If QSF picks him again, he deserves to be sacked!!

Adrian Mariappa : I like Mapps, he’s been a great player for this club but he shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting eleven.

Sebastian Pr*dl : why is he still at our club?

    Marvin Zeegelaar : as above

Daryl Janmaat : This will be an unpopular inclusion. I agree Janmaat should be playing instead of Femenia but it doesn’t mean he’s anything near the standard we need. In many ways, Janmaat is identical to Kiko, both alright going forward, neither can cross or defend for toffee. The only difference is Janmaat will bag a couple of goals a season.

Christian Kabasele : How Long do we have to keep saying this lad has got potential? He’s a liability. He can’t concentrate for 90 minutes and he lay on the ground at Bournemouth which was inexcusable. Bye bye Kabby

Abdoulaye Doucouré : Again, this will be an unpopular choice. I think everyone has got carried away with the hype surrounding this lad, including the player himself. Ask yourself this? When did he last have a man of the match performance? He played well under Snake but since then his levels have dropped dramatically. In hindsight, we should have sold him last January. His head has been turned too far, it’s better he leaves in the next window.

Will Hughes : This is a tough one because I quite like Hughesy. What I don’t like is his eagerness to go down so easily, he’s so lightweight it’s unbelievable. I appreciate he’s not played in his strongest position but I think he’s the wrong player for this team. I think if you were to put Will in the Man City team, he’d shine because he’d have the technical players around him, we don’t have that kind of luxury here at Watford and is why he is wasted.

Roberto Pereyra : Here is a player who thinks he’s too good for this team. Mr Billy Big bollox who came from Juventus who plays with Messi for Argentina. Lazy little gob *****. How many good games has he had for us?
Toss up between him and Gerry as to who is more inconsistent

Gerard Deulofeu : Struts around like a peacock, licking himself because he’s in love with himself. Definitely not a team player, it’s all about him. Like Pereyra, thinks he’s too good for little old Watford. Has put in five decent performances since being here. Don’t need him. Don’t want him.

Isaac Success : I’ve given up on Isaac. Much like Kabasele, we’ve been saying he’s got potential and needs time. Sadly, I think time has run out for Success. Needs to go away and get his head right

Troy Deeney : controversial decision this one. He’s been a great player and skipper and is a proper legend, however, I hate all this media stuff he feels he has to get involved in. Who at the club thought it was a good idea for him to do soccer Saturday last week? Aren’t you supposed to do that after you’ve retired? I get the impression, Troy ain’t fully committed to the cause these days, hence why he needs binning

Danny Welbeck : Can’t see him being fit. Crap signing, waste of time and money

Hard to argue with most of that. With Holebas I think his age is catching up with him but he needs replacing. No idea with Welbeck yet but it does seem like a daft signing. Deeney is past it but I feel is also a reason for the toxic core amongst the players.

Appreciate this thread, a lot of time has gone into it and I wholeheartedly agree.

Would leave the squad a little light in numbers but the ones going are awful so we can overlook this.

The players you list are charlatans so we are better off rid.

I have never, never hated a group of players so much (not even the scum teams) as I do this bunch of spineless misfits.

Would not urinate on them were they on fire.

    Basically all the older players?

Probably makes sense but we never seem to have the youngsters coming through and give them a chance - or they don't add anything like Success .

Isaac Success has never ever had a run of games. He was excellent in the two games I remember him starting last season only to be unceremoniously dumped off for the next one.

No wonder none of the fringe players give a ****. If I was him or Quina, I'd be taking the money and running every week.

The defenders we have are not fit for Premier League football, that is clear. None of them, so I wouldn't have a problem with any going.

But to get rid in one swoop would be crazy though. Players like Kabs, Cacthcart, Janmaat and even Dawson should be retained as backup/squad options only.

Don't agree with the other players listed, especially GD. He's been the only highlight in our last two games. His finishing is poor, but he's always trying to make things happen. Pereyra is a quality player, and if you put him in a better side you'd see that instantly.

Hughes, Doucoure, Deeney and Welbeck all have apart to play.

It's just the defense that is letting everything else down. If we were half decent at the back, players in every other position would improve dramatically.

    It’s a good point actually.

Did they get hammered and underperform to the extent the current lot are? (Considering relative wages and environment)

I didn’t say we need to get rid of Cathcart and Dawson.

It’s not just our defence that’s letting the team down, I don’t see many of our midfielders busting a gut to get back and help or putting in a decent tackle to prevent the opposing team from attacking. For large parts of Saturday’s game, we had players walking!

  10. Don't remember ever getting hammered with them in the team but remember just a compete lack of giving a **** and underperforming, then sodding off once we were down and facing administration.

No they didn't. I enjoyed many of the performances that season. None of us knew that we couldn't afford the lavish contracts handed out to the mediocre players and that was the issue, which nearly cost us our existence.

However, history has been rewritten somewhat in hindsight, because the £20k a week Vega and co were on, nearly sunk us. They were not worth £20k per week, but they were not as bad as some people like to remember.

Fair point about lack of games but he seems to either be injured or played in an unnatural position out wide like Hughes .

Might be better up front holding the ball up or running through with his pace.

4-0 against Sheffield Wednesday on TV in the league cup was a shocker but we weren't too bad defending- just couldn't score many and players like Helguson were left out.

Maybe the entire team need to attend the next fan meeting with Dux. Get things off their chest and have it out with the fans in a polite and professional manner. It would be quite a good opportunity to ask the under performing players personally what they think is going wrong. None of us are football experts and do not pretend to be, but I feel knowing how the fans have felt how this season has begun could be a great psychological boost to confidence. Seeing what we feel has to change, how they feel about it and what next steps can be taken to improve the situation.

Nah, I believe the players will be in Dubai on that date for a bit of R & R.

    Christ that’s dramatic,

First who’s going to take these players apart from the big 3 bobby p Del Boy and doucs.
Second Del Boys got the right to strut around as he is by far one of the best players to put on our shirt, the reason he is with us is his consistency, if he was consistent he’d still be at camp nou.

    This post is so stupid.

  19. Not sure this plan to kick out 16 players 'ASAP' has been sufficiently thought through

There is a risk of doing more damage with too much change too quickly, even if they did all need to go.

Yes Del and Pereyra are a bit hit and miss but it's down to the manager to use them accordingly, when they are on it they both are genuine match winners.

Welbeck >200 appearances for Man Utd, Arsenal and England not good enough for Watford? Okay then.

Considering he has one leg, I'd say he's regressed since being the token Englishman at Arsenal and Man Utd.

...but before we get rid of these , Gino and Duxbury need to get rid of that ****er Giraldi. He is stealing a living more than any of the players and ruins most young talents he decides to bring in. He can just **** of if these owners have any guts and ambition.

I look at Muff and they are light years ahead of us on recruitment, especially the young players they have in their first team. Even the older ones in defence are better than ours. I know they have more money than us but what we spend we waste. Every single Muff player would walk into our team.

  25. I'd say a 1 legged Welbeck still has 100% more control over a football than Andre Gray

Problem with Giraldi is that he knows where all the bodies are buried, probably has records of all the dodgy deals locked up in Bassini's safe.
