Do they still have a neutral stand? I see they have now invested in happy clappers for their fans too. Says it all really
I've got a strong feeling we're going to batter these. What's our highest ever score in the top tier? Whatever it is, we'll equal it. Minimum.
I think the last time fans got this wound up about us was back in the championship. Says it all really.
No one knows how they got into the premiereship No one cares - where did they come in the championship - I’m presuming they got promotion as they collected enough tokens from Kellogg’s packets ??? Floss, pure and simple and fodder for the likes of us. Now we have beaten spurs we are several leagues above them and they should expect a 0-6 spanking Nothing team, never won and trophy, never been in Europe. Sooner they are relegated the better. Maybe this year maybe the next, no one will notice or care. Here to make up the numbers when a relevant team like villa, forest or the mighty Leeds should really be in their place Despite living in spitting distance from Chelsea and QPR they don’t have any rivals as no one cares Away games must be full of the arse and spuds fans who can’t get a ticket
To be fair I didn't know they existed until the Oxford-Cambridge boat race passed what looked like a council run football pitch, so I looked it up on Google. I think their best player is Jimmy Hill
Poor Fulham fans don’t get it and will now be totally confused. They must take life very seriously. No matter, even an intellect like Maggie Thatcher claimed not to understand football fans, so Fulham fans aren’t so bad. All they need to know is Watford is to porterhouse beef steak what Fulham is to Spam.
And what is so very amusing is the genuine ire of Fulham fans taking so seriously a Watford fans forum referring to their homely riverside club as ‘tinpot’. They just can’t understand the self deprecating humour as all poor Watford fans have been suffering the ignominy of being called out as following a tinpot club since the first singularity of the Big Bang and the beginning of time.
The difference is that if you go on the Coventry board no one says anything. https://www.not606.com/forums/coventry-city.37/
I don’t think we should have to play the likes of your Fulham’s, West Ham’s and Palace’s any more. It’s about time us and the rest of the top six split way from the Premier League and started a Superleague, call it The Premiership or something. Mix in the other top European clubs and have the greatest competition on earth. Either that or merge the smaller clubs like Fulham with other small clubs.
Fulham. So pointless as a London club they should do what Al fayed wanted and franchise somewhere else.
Guys, guys, I know you are having a bit of fun at their expense but let's show a bit of respect. Fulham are a club steeped in history and tradition. Illustrious former players include Helguson, George Best and, umm Bouazza. They are European finalists of course, reaching the Anglo Scottish Cup final in 1970 something. Andy Warhol, Vivienne Westwood, Malcolm McClaren, Mary Quant and Sir Oswald Mosely if not all Fulham fans certainly had a shop not far from Craven Cottage. Apparently it's also the oldest club in the Premier League playing in south west London. Even older than us. 1-5 Watford
There is a chap at the club who is a Fulham fan. He is a most unsightly man.Vey overweight, wears support stockings Last Sunday he wore his Fulham shirt. It was far too small. Will Cameron be on day release for this one,to recreate his '99 In Bishop's Park' role?
Highest scores in the Premiership Unless I stand corrected Home 4-1 v Portsmouth 1999/2000 4-1 v Chelsea. 2017/8 Away 4-2 v West Ham. 2016/7 3-0 v Newcastle. 2017/8
"No one cares about Fulham except their own fans" Just like us then.. well apart from these last couple of weeks when we seem to have become darlings of the media (wont last) Craven Cottage gets my vote as the best football day out in the capital.. possibly country. Great pubs in the area.. pleasant Thameside walk if you want to go that way.. non threatening home fans.. and arriving at the ground and experiencing what football was like 100 years ago. Smashing!
Merson's prediction: Watford are doing well, even in their defeat to Manchester United they had a chance at the end. I think Watford will be a bit too cute for Fulham and use their experience to get the result. They've been in the Premier League too long and I see them putting in a wily performance. PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2 Lawro's prediction Both of these sides lost to Manchester clubs last weekend - Fulham at City and Watford at home to United. The problem for Watford against United was that they did not want to open up too early, when they were better off just having a go in the way they have in their other games. Fulham were 'shy' against City - Jokanovic It was interesting listening to Cottagers manager Slavisa Jokanovic after his side's defeat at Etihad Stadium, when he said he felt they were a little bit scared to play like they can. I don't think that will be the case against the Hornets, which is why I am going for a home victory - although Watford will also see this one as winnable and they always seem to finish games strongly - so it could be close. Lawro's prediction: 2-1
Got 2 mates who are Fulham fans . Both decent lads who go every week . Hoping to still be mates after tomorrow
