Nice from the players tonight, synchronising their Tweets ... all kicked off by our captain fantastic: https://twitter.com/t_deeney :sign15::sign15::sign15::sign15:
Deeney leading from the front both on and off the pitch. He has to be up there with the best captains we've had.
This, the free coaches, the fund & the pre match plans for tomorrow have made me realise I fuc*ing love Watford and am immensely proud and lucky to support my local team.
That's not quite how trends work on Twitter. For instance it's not on my top 10 but then I don't follow many Watford fans.
Doesn't it depend what you have your Trends set to? If it just says 'Trends', you have tailored trends on and it'll display trending topics that it think you'll be interested in. 'United Kingdom Trends' is the same for everyone, regardless of who you follow (which is what I have, and which showed #fornicforpromotion as trending).
I have United Kingdom trends and I don't have #fornicforpromotion. However I do have Russell Brand and I hate that c**t. Anyway, #fornicforpromotion is a great hashtag.
1,641 users and 1,686 tweets (1639 RTs) in 5 hours made #fornicforpromotion a Trending Topic in United Kingdom. 1,638,256 people could have seen #fornicforpromotion since its 1st mention until it became a Trending Topic. The tweet with the most impact of the #fornicforpromotion Trend, was published by @T_Deeney: http://twitter.com/T_Deeney/status/576476633361690624 … (342 RTs) All from @trendinaliaGB.
Brilliant #. I'm hoping that this not only motivates the players furthermore to strive for promotion but also for the rest us to cheer on our boys in the remaining 10 games and act as that twelfth, which will hopefully give us that extra edge! Come on you 'orns!
Lets hope the desire and emotion of tomorrow doesn't get to us, crowd and players Great hashtag and effort by the players
Looks like the players are up for it. Let's hope we are as well, all of us, not just the 1881. Be positive, don't think we will finish 5th or even 2nd, believe we can win it, know we can win it, as I said the players know it.
I wouldn't underestimate Jokanovi*'s role in this. He's clearly brought the team together but is happy to stay in the background and let the fans and the players unite.
Whilst hoping for the best, I think it could be a long and difficult road to recovery for Nic. It really would be good if we could find a way of keeping the #fornicforpromotion hashtag going so he and his family know we haven't forgotten about him.
I'm sure the 44th minute applause will be kept up until at least the end of the season. Apparently it happened yesterday and Nic's name was sung after Deeney's penalty and at the final whistle.
Imagine the look on Nick's face when he wakes up and is told that he's 30k richer and his plight was the inspiration behind his beloved team being promoted.
