I agree. As I said to @SerbianHornet I thought because of his age we wouldn't be really looking at him then all of a sudden soon to be 31 Danny Rose looks to be signing. But I think he's probably just on a list of players we're looking at. Good player on his day but he's not really ever settled properly at one club imo. He definitely wasn't the player that caught my eye when watching Sassuolo.

 

Yes if we sign Rose who is even older than I can't see how age could be the problem. As I said in the other thread, he is an excellent player who is in great form again after many years of being inconsistent.

 

Swear we do this to make sure our rivals sign duffers like Boufal, Lemina and Iturbe.

 

Hughes , Chalobah and Cleverley have all had bad injuries in the past, so happy with this.

 

Leventhal did say the club are looking to bring in two more midfielders as it stands, and that's outside any potential movement with either Hughes or Chalobah. I don't know whether he's counting 'No.10's in the 'midfield' equation or not, but presumably that's quite possible.

Having watched most of his games, he's no better than Penaranda so I think he shouldn't be signed.

Would love Boga. He’s had a fairly indifferent season but was being linked with some of the big boys last summer. If we are seriously considering Danjuma then I would think Boga would also be affordable

 

We were possibly seriously considering Danjuma until we heard the price exceeded £10m.

 

Maybe they would take Deeney & Gray in exchange and their bus fare of course
