Not enough (unsurprisingly) for this category, sadly.

Nigel Callaghan, but could have easily have been several of the players that came up with GT.

Barnes, Coton, and even (in my book) the unsung heroes like Roger Joslyn and Les Taylor. You just felt such attachment to the team back then and you never felt they weren't giving their best.

A different subject, but seems a good place to mention Elton's autobiography "Me".

Only two thirds through the audio version, but it is really good, and one of the chapters is mostly about his association with Watford FC. Very interesting.

Mostly about his progression though his pop career though, very candid about his drugs and his sex life, and pretty coarse language throughout.

    Very enjoyable!

    Tony Coton.

He was the reason I supported Watford, a fantastic Keeper.

How he never got a cap for England i'll never know!!

I enjoyed it and really laughed at his description of Long John Badry who I went to Primary School with.

When I started going to games properly there was 1 player that stood out. Allan Nielsen. Absolutely loved him and I am sure I am not alone in that.

The other one would be Heidar. Just everything you want as a fan. 100% effort every game and saved us on more than one occasion. That year when Boothroyd came in late on he carried us to safety. Shame he left but his sale funded our next season where we got promoted. Will never forget his comeback at home to Leicester scoring two goals. What a man.

Nope because that team was all about them (the press, Liverpool, fans of every other club, anybody who wasn’t a minnow) vs us (GT, Elton, The players, the fans all who came together as one)

Pearson out. That was no better than a Quique performance. We're down now and no mistake. We can't expect this side to suddenly start getting wins against Man City and liverpool to keep us up.

The pozzos have fiddled whist Rome has been burning. They utterly deserve to he relegated and to lose a lot of money. They can't sell up and piss off quickly enough for me.

Quite young, started getting into football gradually in the mid-00s, so unfortunately I missed out on a lot of quality players. Out of everyone I've seen, has to be Abdi, such a shame how his career has panned out since we got promoted...

Worst possibly Jurado. I'm not sure he got a single assist in the league although I'm happy to be corrected. He did assist Deeney's goal at Wembley but I try not to remember that game.

Mooney and Helguson cant decide between the two. Both put 100% in every game and scored their fair share of goals.
Galli was one of those players who just did what he needed to but with a touch of class and calmness.
