Yes I agree and it will change. We saw our capabilities against Everton. Again I will state Albion and Soton came to us on the back of 3-0 drubbing. They made it very difficult for us. But we had chances that weren't taken. Solidity is the key.

 

I personally don't think so. We set up that way and it was working to an extent. We were on a hiding to nothing yesterday. I personally think Man City should be applauded instead of moaning about how we played. Before you say I know you personally haven't moaned in this post.

On average Deeney was no deeper than Ighalo on the other side yet no one on here is accusing Odion of being a LM/LWB/LB. Odd.

To be fair, both are very cheap. I'd be tempted to pay the extra fiver though.

Inter offer for Borini comes in at £6m. Watford have offered £7m. Fiorentina still in but Sunderland's £8m rising to £10m winning the day.

 

From what I've seen Borini is in the same mould as a Weimann-type striker, he works hard and can be a nuisance for defenders, but lacks a clinical finishing side to him that the likes of Vydra have.

 

It worries me that we would even consider swapping Vydra for Borini

He's made a whole career out of being a CF who doesn't score goals. His scoring record over the last 8 years is appalling. We wanted a 20 goal striker and here he is, 23 goals in 8 years. He sounds exactly the type of CF we would be interested in.

This is brilliant. I absolutely was accusing Ighalo of playing LWB. How QSF was rehired after playing Ighalo and Deeney as wing backs and Jurado a lone striker I'll never understand.
