Racist? That's libel. Who hasn't wanted to give a student a good slapping in their lifetime?

He was definitely having some handbags with him in the tunnel when they left the pitch.

It's bad enough for the club that he's crap and a massive waste of money, but now he's attacking our own players.

He likely just wanted a nice 10 game ban so he could pick up his wage without adorning the yellow shirt he so clearly despises.

I would love a 10 point reduction. Let's see what the HMS PTL clappers have to say about that!

From what I hear, Rico went a bit too far
    Andre sailed across the bar
And then the punches flew and chairs were smashed in two
There was blood and a single gun shot
    But just who shot who?

If the FA want to investigate this then maybe they should also find out why the ref let Bournemouth take the free kick after it was awarded to us.

He gave it to them for some reason (presume he is allowed to ?) after Chalobah “retaliated” when Lema found him.

It was clear that Lerma committed the initial foul when he climbed all over Chalobah's back. The referee blew his whistle, giving the free kick to Watford before later changing his decision. Otter explained the rules in another thread: "Once the ref blew for our free kick, the ball was dead. Once the ball is dead anything that happens afterwards should have no bearing on who restarts."

And annoyingly, the only reason Chalobah reacted was because Lerma was still hanging round his neck about 2 seconds after the ref had given the foul. He was probably concerned for his own well-being in the circumstances. That was ample cause to book Lerma in itself, but the ref missed that as the poor darling was rolling around as if Nate had ripped his face off.

Also, if Cleverley scores that piss easy chance on 57 minutes, none of this ever happens and we cruise home victorious with no suspensions confirmed nor pending.

    Thanks Tom.

On reviewing the footage, it's clear that El Gaucho is ******* hard and will not be messed with.

    Give him the armband. Now.

I don't think he can do that but to be honest I'm not going to bother looking up the rules!

He can't and it was an error by the Ref to let them take the free kick.
But let's not kid ourselves that it was the refs fault we lost. There is no way we should of let them score so easily from the free kick. And we did virtually nothing to win the game, one shot on target is just not good enough.

It's like Brighton blaming the ref/VAR for not letting them score and the reason they lost. They missed two penalties, they should look at themselves.

I don't think anyone would argue that we didn't really deserve to win the game, we bossed the first half but didn't create anything. However it was the manner in which Muff had to cheat to tip the balance, the ref was a fault because of his mistake it led immediately to the goal.

So Muff with no chance of automatics scupper HMS PTL by fouling and getting our players banned meaning we have to play them in the playoffs and we all know how that will turn out.

Don’t think we’re saying we should have won, but there’s a fair case for saying without the ref’s poor showing it would have been a draw, which would have been a fair result based on the performances of the two teams.

Where did you get that from? Watford had two thirds the possession, 12 shots to their 7 and we were playing at their place.

Had we won, why would it have been undeserved?

  30. if Nate had any brains he would have gone down like a sack of spuds at the contact, and rolled around the floor screaming in agony.

We had one shot on target. They had 3.

Possession isn't everything. When England beat Germany 5-1 in 2001, Germany had a similar percentage of possession.

You said that we didn't create anything, and we obviously created chances for 12 shots, that may have been blocked or just gone wide. Of course possession isn't everything, nobody says it does, but I asked how you reached the conclusion you did and you came back with the "shots on target" stat. But a punt at goal from 30 yards that loops into the keepers arms is hardly a chance, either even if it counts as a shot on target.

I'm not even sure you even saw the game. :)

Yeah, but those 12 shots contained almost zero that were "whoa...close!" and were almost entirely made up of "awww fack" efforts blasted miles over the bar or into the seats. The only one I can think of that was off target and even mildly whoa was that Sarr one into the side netting and that was a pretty shyte effort too if the truth be told.
