The cautious approach would be for 3 of you to buy now in block 542 or as close as possible - and then look to get 2 more in block 543/544 when they go on sale to the next category. That way the 3 of you 100% definitely go and it’s odds on the other 2 will be able to get tickets - and then you can still all arrive together / leave together and meet at half time, but you’ll just watch the game separately.

I do feel they need sub categories for these bigger games. Would help with a quicker system and give those who deserve it the better seats. I’m cat c and out of the hassle you’re all having. It does take the piss charging for the transaction, especially when the service is so poor.

Hopefully all of that will be a distant memory if we win and you’re all there to see it!

I’m cat C too and having read the amazing ticket buying experience so many people have had so far I’m really looking forward to Monday @ 2pm!! Hopefully TM have made improvements to the site!

Wasn't there a backlash last time when they went on general sale and magically both low price and premium tickets appeared to buy?

Are we the same end as v Palace x2 or were they at different ends and I'm really going dotty bonks?

TM won't make improvements. They've already issued their regrets but won't refund fees for a **** service and will just carry on ripping people off until the end of time.

Why has the "road to Wembley" title changed to "....almost to the final"? This suggests we've accepted we will lose the semi and not make the final !

This is a tough one but could it possibly be because we’ve got to play at Wembley but it’s not the final yet?

If you need confirmation we won’t make the final, refer to the Wolves forum and all the ‘neutral’ ITK pundits.

543 is now open for sale this morning. Seats going front row of the upper tier...

Block 543 has been opened up for sale to WFC fans this morning. Maybe because there were no longer category 3 tickets available in other blocks?

I suspect that as we didn't sell out our last semi's allocation, Wembley are opening one block at a time if they think enough people will buy them. I reckon by the middle of next week they'll offer any unopened blocks to the supposedly 3 million Wolves fans trying to get tickets. Anything to fill up their monstrously expensive concrete bowl!

So how many blocks & estimated tickets have yet to be opened for purchase? And have most people allowed to book who want to go now got their tickets?

There going to be many left on Monday for cat c?

    Wow, ingenious !
You take the point ? It just reads that our target on the road to Wembley is to almost get the final ! If it had to be changed it could have said "....-2 wins to go" or something similar. Perhaps it's just me.

To be fair, it's easy to see why the neutrals want The Wolfs to win. Small town team with a population of disaffected, disconnected, Brexit loving racists, with nothing to do since the slowing down of the industrial revolution in the early 20th century.

Here they are, with a chance at a Wembley final, for probably the first time in their history.

It's the classic rags to riches, David Vs Goliath. Of course the media are going to back the plucky underdogs who are massively punching above their weight.

I've spoken to a lot of Wolf fans, and despite their appalling accents, I've discerned that most realise that they will drop down the table and finish about 10th, which will be a massive success for them, and also that the Semi final is the biggest game in their recent past and probably, their near future.

The talk from the Wolfs fans on the Internet is consistent with this. They will sell their tickets out and sing their hearts out, regardless of the result. And good for them. It's the biggest day out in their town's history and the result is not important to them. It's just about enjoying the day, marvelling at the infrastructure and architecture of Brent and the surrounding Harrow areas, and going home with a few memories of a trip to a world they didn't even know existed.

The Wolfs are this season's Burnley - a motley crew of journeyman pros assembled on a shoestring, with spirit and guts, who've upset a few of the big boys along the way, whilst being schooled by the likes of Watford and Huddersfield, who know what it really means to live amongst the big boys in the Premier League. They've managed to surf a wave of pure determination and momentum, but already, there are signs that is starting to wane and I think any Wolf fans who are honest with themselves, would take 17th place next season, if offered to them now.

I have nothing but respect for the Wolfs of Molinux and hope they enjoy their day out. For Watford, it feels a bit unromantic to say, it will be simply business as usual. Get a result and hope none of our players get injured by their clogging lads.

Good luck to them for the rest of the season, except when they play us lol!

    Are you listening Birmingham Mail?
This is exactly the type of honest appraisal that your publication should be promoting. In fact it should go on your front page.

I'm sure it would come as a breath of fresh air to readers who are used to headlines such as this..

I won’t be going to Wembley on April 7th... I was there in 1984,1999,2013 & 2016 but because I despise NEW Wembley so much, I’d sooner watch it on the box in a pub. I’ve attended every watford semi final apart from 1970, so this will be the first I’ve missed. If the ‘Orns reach the final, I won’t be going to that either. My love for Watford FC hasn’t diminished, in fact in this moment I love them more than ever but I find the whole Wembley experience a totally unpleasant and incredibly expensive one.
I hope all who are going, enjoy the day.

Gosh you two sound posh. You are of course totally correct, a day out in Wembley is not a pleasant experience and very expensive. The thing is, the FA and the pubs around the stadium milk the unsuspecting fan of his hard earned, as his love for his club
overrides his brain. I hate the whole Wembley thing (probably cos we normally lose) but the one occasion we did win makes all the other days suffering worth while.

The new stadium is far posher than the old one.. so they sound the opposite to me.

It need not be such an expensive day out though. Some tickets are 30 quid.. less than individual prices at the Vic.. and there's plenty of reasonably priced pubs around the Wembley area. Just try to avoid the overpriced beverages inside the stadium.

Posh - hah! You maybe would change your opinion if you'd heard me bellowing at Mike Keen in the mid 70s, Harry Bassett in the late 80s and Colin Lee in the 90s.....

No I don't like Wembley and it's not because of the cost - although it is a rip off - just the whole corporate and commercial atmosphere of the place - even the walk from the Torch when you get past Wembley Park station is dominated by high-rise anonymity. Plus if you're not a regular anymore then the tickets you can buy are for a seat up in the gods - fair enough for the season ticket fans and away followers to get the seats close to the action, but for me, my one and only visit was the play-off against Palace and I forgot my binoculars. It was worse than St James' Park.

    Never again.

Watching a match at Wembley from the higher tier is like watching a game of subbuteo from the next room. Watching from the lower tier is like watching from the old Rookery but 50m further from the pitch.

Many years ago one of the pubs near Wembley Park Station was convicted of watering beer on Final Day. I don't think that can be done with modern casks.

I also hate the tat that comes with a visit to Wembley. Watford always are the worst team for this. Semi Final tee shirts, wigs, foam hands, and the worst crime, bloody horns.
BTW theres a sale on at the club shop, you can buy a wig and a horn for £5 OMG. If I was a rich man I'd buy the lot and bin them. Rant over.

A horn? I hope it's the type you wear and not one you blow, because if it's the latter I'll be thrown out for breaking them.

Good for them if they get away with it.

If we get to final no doubt Watford will use them again and it will be a bigger **** up as more of us fighting over fewer tickets
