First Round winners – £36,000
Second Round winners – £54,000

Third Round winners – £135,000

Fourth Round winners – £180,000

Fifth Round winners – £360,000

Quarter-Final winners – £720,000

Semi-Final losers – £900,000

Semi-Final winners – £1,800,000

Runners-up – £1,800,000

Winners – £3,600,000

 

We therefore have a guaranteed 2,385,000.00 so far even if we lose the semi plus gate receipts.

 

I don't think it's cumulative but I might be wrong. If so, a guaranteed £1.62m.

 

And, of course, TV money

We didn't play in the first & second rounds, so surely a guaranteed £2,295,000?

 

We have earnt £1,395,000 in prize money so far with a guaranteed £900,000 (should we not make the final) so in effect last Saturdays win was worth £1,620,000 £720,000 then and a guaranteed £900,000 in the semis!

 

Who the semi final gate receipts go to?

 

I have tried looking, and I can't find anything that suggests it will be other than the usual 45/45 for clubs, 10% to FA.

Say 70,000 at £50 x 45% = (doing in my head) about £1.5m for Watford.

 

Arsenal earned £4.2m from their last cup winning run.

I was very disappointed by our back 5 against palace. A combined cost of £1.5m for a premier league defence (Gomes, Kiko, Mapps, Cathcart, Holebas) is well over the odds. In comparison I bought a banana the other day for less than a quid. No wonder fans complain. Its the end of football!

 

Looking forward to our taking the field next season with 1.5m bananas along the back line.
