Hahahahahahaha! Alan Smith praising Arsenal for keeping a clean sheet! They were awful, we did them all over the pitch!

Javi is a magician having us where we are when he’s having to bring on Success and Sema!

I thought we were the better team throughout. Deserved something from that, even with 10 men.

Excellent performance from the majority of the team. Defended really well and completely dominated the midfield.

Foster to blame for the defeat, Gray also very poor. Yes, he makes good runs, but it's pointless when he wastes the chances.

Cathcart and Capoue were magnificent, Masina also very good which was encouraging.

Hopefully this season sees the end of Isaac Success' career at Watford. Shocking performance when he came on and adds absolutely nothing.

Great effort. All over Arsenal with ten men for 80 minutes. Outstanding. Arsenal should be embarrassed - they are so poor. No doubt the spitting thug Carragher will turn the talk back to Liverpool as soon as possible.

Plucky performance against our betters. Off to the pub with my mates to debate the refereeing decisions with a smile and a beer. VAR ruining the game! Sad!

Arsenal are pure scum. Hope the midget breaks his leg soon or at the Copa America. Hope Spurs or Chelsea knock them out of the CL spots. They will not win anything for years. Utter garbage like the officials.

Outplayed and outfought for most of the match. Gracia has the team superbly drilled. Masina was excellent along with most of the side. Fans, players and manager are as one. A great atmosphere one that Graham Taylor would have been proud of with everyone pulling in the same direction.

But for a top class finisher we would be more than seventh fifth or fourth even given the number of points we have thrown away. We have been outplayed only twice this season both times by Liverpool.

Bournemouth and Man City both outplayed us in the first two games we had against them this season.

Yes special mention for Masina. Has taken a lot of flak but did a great job tonight. Hopefully he can push on.

It'll be interesting to see who plays in the run up to the cup final between Kabasele and Mariappa.

Kabasele wasn't bad tonight but both him and Mariappa are a long way from Cathcart's level. Solid back-ups but hopefully improved upon in the transfer window

Player states in public that whenever he plays Arsenal he hits someone to see who's up for it.

Ref simply can't wait to send player off for hitting someone.

    Who'd have thought it?

Muff was with Capoue being played at the back and a man down. Not really outplayed. Just fecked up by the officials. We played very well against Petrodollars United in both matches. Only Liverpool have taken us apart.

Worth appealing the red card? Considering we were without GD, RP and JH, an excellent performance. Cheated out of it today. 11 v 11 and we win that. No question.

Really need to get some of the injured back for Saturday and then try to see off Huddersfield as quickly as possible. Need a good half hour of olé football, otherwise we’ll be knackered by the time Southampton come to town.

So galling. We played them off the park with 10 men. Gray, Capoue, Doucoure, Hughes, Janmaat, Masina, Cathcart all immense.

Success can **** off now. Better to play with one up front than him. Lazy, waste of space

Did you see Cathcart's reaction when Kabasele was off the pitch changing his boots?

F*cking Carragher “How do you feel playing in premier league for first time?” to Aubameyang. Is that the extent of the questions? He’s been here over a year. That’s all the tool can come up with? Embarassing thickit.

They were obviously looking to throw themselves to the ground in a deeney challenge as soon as they could, and of course it worked.

Even the goal they scored was sh it.

11 v 11 and it is hard to see anything but a Watford victory.

    Next time I guess

Excellent display from the 10 men, have to admit I'm annoyed as that defeat was completely avoidable.

He didn't look impressed. It was in the 2nd half and left us with 9 men on the pitch. Lets just say, I can see why Mapps is often picked ahead of him!

Cathcart has been superb for us. Just silently going about his job. No fuss, no thrills, no moaning. People got on his back when he came back from that lengthy injury but he has been solid

To be fair to Masina, I reckon he's only had two "bad" games for us: Liverpool away where he got roasted by Salah/TAA, and Palace in the cup when he came on at half time. Other than that, for the most part he's looked solid, just not quite on the level of Holebas, tonight excepted!

Regarding the red, Troy's arm is in a natural running position, and Torreira was only caught because he's four foot six. And he really made the most of it.

Impressive display overall - down to 10 and without our chief creators, and we still outplayed them for the most part.

How someone with such a monotonous voice landed a job commentating is baffling. I don't think he mentioned Watford once in that game.

I can understand that. A player should know which boots to wear.

I was do know that Kabesele likes it here, or he did at the start of the season anyway

Very good effort overall considering such an early (laughably soft, unjust, biased) sending off. We gave it a go and Arsenal were awful. Frustrating because with 11 v 11 I think we would have done them tonight. Masina had his best game which was nice to see.

Still think Gray is the most clumsy, uncomfortable striker I can ever remember seeing at this level. He works hard, is good for a goal now and again and obviously has decent moments, but his first touch and general ability on the ball is mind boggling at Premier League level. So often attacks break down and good chances are wasted because he can't control a simple ball, play a basic pass or strike the ball cleanly without falling over his own feet. Success (who admittedly I wanted on) was sh**te and didn't look interested either. Everyone else played pretty well.

Its really really hard to accept we lost that.

I thought we were absolutely fantastic. Yes Foster cost us but for me more than made up for jt with a stuning spread eagle save in the second half. Was it a red? Not from where I saw it. Yes it was silly but the lino overuling it is wrong on this occasion Deeney was late but there was no intended mallice. Tgree games out tbkugh will e a massive loss.

Decoure' layoff to Masima that smasbed the bar, Gray looking cddgain to score bar a great block. Hughes heading over and Capoue flashing wide.

We played really well tonight and the team can feel proud. Everyone bar Success played well and despite losibg I was aman with the crowd at the end with tbe ovation.

    It felt like a win.

Arsenal were total dog ***** and we won tbe gane for them. Really really poor. It wasn't our night tonight but consideribg everyone around us lost we havent lost ground.

We have a must win game next week vs Huddersfield who are down and low on confidence, Southampton which is our gane in hand then Wolves.

Lots to play for still abd it feels odd being so high after a home loss. Fantastic effort and didnt get what we deserved. Any chance off the card being overturned?

Shows what a great job Gracia is doing. I hope the lads know what a rousibg cheer off means in the face of defeat. Lots to positive about.

Thanks to everyone who went. Chin up and kets get back to winning ways at Hudddersfield.

Honestly I thought that most of our players really raised their game and busted a guy tonight. Kabasele was OK but looked a little sloppy at times and Success was just hateful. He showed today why he's never made it. He's an entitled, lazy ***** with zero ability.

Gray has come in for criticism from me, but I thought he looked incredible today. Looked every inch a premier league forward and deserved at least a goal

Another classic Deeney "orange card" moment. Could have gone either way but why make the challenge at all? We'd been superb first ten minutes and even with Foster's mistake we were well in the game.

Some of our players were absolutely fantastic tonight - Cathcart, Masina, Janmaat, Kabasele, Hughes, Capoue, Doucoure. Gray worked very hard and was ok, couple of poor touches, couldn't have done more when he rounded the keeper. Success was dreadful, ok he wins free kicks from long balls but he was so, so poor on the ball. Sema didn't really seem on it either. He was fresh and we'd been down to ten men but he just hesitated a few times and didn't challenge for the ball.

Hughes was great on the ball. If we lost Doucoure and end up changing formation, I think we'll see a lot more of Hughes when he comes central. He was building moves for us through the middle of the pitch all the time.

Arsenal really have some sh1te in their squad. No way are they ever going to challenge for trophies with Iwobi, Xhaka, that Greek guy and Guendouzi getting games. Wouldn't have any of them at Watford.
