    Got to love the FA Cup for games like this! Watching Wigan beat City makes me wish we played better against Southampton!

    Would be pretty funny if they lose to Arsenal on Sunday too.

    After the last two nights it’s difficult to understand why the Cup has fallen so far out of favour. City’s historic and unprecedented attempt at the quadruple was on the line, but crumbled to dust with one mistake. The ‘sudden death’ element is what always made it the most exciting competition for me.

    So to accommodate the 'winter break' the FA Cup 5th round will now be played in midweek without replays. Very sad, considering how great a competition it used to be. Perhaps it's time to have it put down and just remember the good times...
