Hey, sonofben, how would you like a Steelers/Eagles Super Bowl? It could happen...the AFC is a much tougher call than the NFC.

The Giants could win if they play a good game and the Eagles blow it.
The Cardinals are crap. The Panthers just don't seem like they can do it.

Will the Titans live out their dream season all the way to the end? Will The Ravens overcome the Titans and then make good on two losses to the Steelers to go all the way? Will the Cinderella Chargers pull another upset or two, and possibly without LT? It didn't hold them back last game...

I've gone with the Ravens against the Steelers as, although Pittsburgh is a bloody hard place to go due to the propensity of seemingly constant snow, the Ravens can't throw the ball anyway so smashmouth with superior defence will prevail.

And as the Ravens will shut down the temperamental Eagles' run, they'll be forced to throw and I don't feel good when McNabb has to be relied on. Reed will be Superbowl MVP with around 10 picks.

Titans are out. Deary me, that fumble at the 1 yard line cost us.

As much as it pains me to say, I am now a Steelers fan for the rest of the playoffs.

 

Dammit, that was the game I wanted to see and I missed it while working on some stupid crap for my job on a weekend at home! What is wrong with me?

 

Titans could not hold on to the ball for there life.. though all this under dog winning means the eagles are winning for sure

 

The thing is, I'd hate a Ravens Eagles Superbowl as they're my two favourite teams. You don't want to go into it liking both teams, you want a real venom for one.

 

I really hope the chargers beat the steelers as a game against the ravens would mean an ultra defensive championship game. As for the game tonight between the eagles and giants, asking me who i want to win is like asking me whether i want sh1t for breakfast or sh1t for dinner.

 

I loved the Giants last year, and the Superbowl was orgasmic. But the fact that they're now favourites has led to me hating them.

Obviously the Eagles are the greatest team ever and should be everyone's favourite team. A grouchy coach, a ridiculously inconsistent QB, an oft-injured star running back, no receiving depth whatsoever and a fickle fanbase. Who wouldn't love that?

 

And they are through! 23-11 over the Giants.

My plan is coming together...

 

Darren Sproles takes a KO 63 yards to the PIT 23 and Rivers repays his good effort by throwing an INT.

If I were Darren Sproles, I wouldn't bother with the next one.

 

Ouch, I only saw about 5 minutes of the game, but it reminded of when a baby bear gets a half living rabbit from it's mama to play with.

 

What happened? Due to scholarly commitments I could only watch the first half of the Eagles game, I've just seen the second half but am blissfully unaware of the Steelers thing.

 

It was actually fairly close in the first half, but I turned away to do some chores and when I got back to it, it was almost 20 points away for the Chargers. They were broken looking. Might be my imagination.

I secretly wanted the Chargers to win, as in the 80's they were my first really favorite sports team of all time despite living hundreds of miles away...

 

Secretly? I thought you were pretty obviously pro-Chargers.

 

I suppose I am, but I already called them as losing this game.

Such a lovable team...I will be a little sad if they ever develop the ability to win championships.

Of all those teams, I think I'm going to go with the Cards. Ravens @ Steelers is going to be an ultra-defensive affair but Eagles/Cards is one that will be very interesting if Kurt and Larry and hook up again.

 

Kurt Warner was made for these types of games. He is incredible in them.
That could be the pick of the decade.

I'm sticking with my original picks though.

I gave myslef 25 points for each win so I got 75 points total in the first round.
