I like Kevin Smith though. They seem to have more weapons than Miami last year, but have no way of using them. They also seem absolutely nowhere near getting a W.

Well it seems that Smash (White) and Dash (Johnson) came to the party this time, or was it that the Lions D didn't? Even though the Lions are bad, at least it was a professional display, getting the job done and putting up some points to give our offense some confidence following the game against the Jets.

Anyways, 11-1 is a great record to have at this time of the season and I am well chuffed with it. Hell, even Vincey cry-baby Young got some time under centre.

 

Those Thursday games were not hard to pick, were they?

Too bad you lads don't get college football...#9 Boise State pounded Fresno State 64-10 in a fun game to watch.

Good game last night it would appear. OT win for the Bears after Saints came back in the last quarter.

Some good games over the weekend, with Steelers @ Ravens and Giants @ Cowboys standing out for me.

 

Both good games indeed. Tough to pick a winner in that first one, although I think that the Steelers are very good at getting the job done and will pick up the W.

Now until I read the article I knew nothing about him, but looking at his achievements:

Inaugaural HoF inductee class
Most passing touchdowns total for the Redskins
Highest season completion percentage for the Redskins
Third most total interceptions for the Redskins
League leader in average punting distance

Sounds like a true great on Offense, Defence and Special Teams. Not too many of those to be found.

Sorry I was a bit pre-occupied this week and forgot to post predictions.

Still the Titans beat the Steelers to wrap up home-field advantage. Go Titans!

 

Ah, so did I. I was going to come on and do them now as I haven't seen any scores yet but I shan't bother.

 

Let's finish this prediction thing (that we've all dropped in the holidays) with a BANG! or at least a BOING!

Once the Wildcard games are done, we will have a straight tournament all the way through the Super Bowl. Simply guess the winners of each game through the Super Bowl. Each round has = points, so Super Bowl win guessed right gives 100 points, conference championships are 50 points each, first round games are 25 points each. Maximum are 300 points Tie breaker is guessing the score of the Super Bowl.

I don't really get it. But I'm enjoying the Ravens and Eagles wins.

Total points available for all three rounds is 300 points.

Once the wildcard results are set, we are good to go.

Tennessee get Baltimore. As I am in a pessimistic mood, that is our season over.

Even if we do somehow surpass the Ravens, I don't see us getting past the Steelers again.
