As an England fan he’s ***** but as a Watford fan he is good enough to improve us.

Suppose it could be one of those ‘surprise’ Deadline Day deals that’s actually been sat there all along - gives Spurs the chance to make deals as the window goes on and pull out if they are unable to.

 

Wasn't Dier playing for Spurs when Capoue was allowed to leave? Don't think he would replace Doucoure but cover for Capoue whilst he takes a breather would be alrite.

 

Given we played 3 at the back partially during pre-season, Dier also has good experience of playing as one of 3 CB’s too. The more I think of it, the more I think it would be a very good signing.

Just a shame I don’t believe Jamie from Media is a real person.

Just been speaking to a mate who supports Spurs - he's by no means in ITK - but he laughed and said no chance.

However, he said had it been Wanyama, there could have been some truth to it as Spurs are actively trying to shift him.
