Rangers will get worried as Celtic will probably see an increase in penalties for them! Not sure how he will do - big pressure up there and not certain Howe can organise a defence which is what let Celtic down this season.

Bit of a funny one taking a job at one of the big two in Scotland, succeed and it proves nothing, fail and it confirms you’re utterly rubbish. If it goes well I guess you have a well paid job you can stay in for 10+ years which would be almost unheard of down south, as well as the facade of being a title winning manager etc. Gerrard has done well of course, but he could easily find himself taking the Liverpool job and bombing much like Lampard, so may we’ll need to take a relatively mediocre job in England first anyway. Funny how the Celtic fans had banners when Rogers left saying you’ve swapped legend status for mediocrity, when in reality if he finishes second in England that’s light years ahead of finishing first out of 2 clubs in Scotland.
He'll go because of results on the pitch & seeing he can teams playing good attacking football he might be good for the future of the game in Scotchlanderland. TBF, this applies to both sets of sectarian bigots, they're very forgiving of non-Sweaties who don't 'know' or 'get' all that cobblers. There’s no way Howe or anyone else would stay 10 years in Scotland. The same as Rogers, Gerrard etc., it will be a couple of seasons to build/repair their reputation with a view to getting a PL job in England.
No I don’t suppose they would, I just meant they could if they so wish, which is rare anywhere else in football. It was a reason I gave for why you’d take the job. Aside from that I don’t see what success really proves for any manager who does well there, it’s kind of just par for any reasonable manager.
