After all the fuss over the penalty incident against Arsenal and should Richarlison have been charged with diving it seems the FA (is if they haven't got issues of their own!) have accused a Carlisle player of such an act. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ive-video-charged-fa-first-ever-a8008806.html He did actually get up and lay the ball off afterwards though! Presume the bookings to the Wycombe players for dissent will be annulled?
Another example of trial by media, with the FA Panel only getting involved when the big clubs complain?
He just got his feet tied up, didn't appeal for the pen but then he also didn't tell the ref it wasn't one ... not that anyone would these days. He should get a ban for taking advantage of the poor refereeing, maybe decisions like this can bring a bit of honour back into the game.
'Twas irony and a pop at HB1, who seems to think that those are the only circumstances under which the Panel will ever be convened.
No dive. Didn't claim and tried to play on. The fact that the ref made a poor decision is not down to the player so he shouldn;t be punished. If he'c sdisagreed with the ref's decision he could have had a card for descent. Damned if you do damned if you don't. Stupid rule. You either have video reffing within the game where people can be penalised at the time, or not at all. This is a half arsed system which will only cause problems. The ref's decision has to remain final. In my opinion the only time retrospective action should be taken is for off the ball or ref missed incidents
The Carlisle fans themselves are pretty much claiming that the bigger clubs in League Two would not get punished (citing Luton as an example..)
Another one of those trial by panel/TV incidents here. Fulham player had been sent off for raising his hands but now the Bristol City player has been banned for simulation.. Does look like the latter went down easily but worthy of a 2 match ban? Of course you've got all the other players putting their view across trying to influence the ref. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...ty-bailey-wright-diving-ban-aboubakar-kamara/
