https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/denis-suarez-negocia-salida-premier-league-7228966 I took this at the training ground this morning. Ok, I doubt we'd actually be able to sign him, but he's an amazing talent. They way he runs with the ball is Messi like. Can play in tight areas and links the play through midfield from defense to attack really well. Barcelona are willing to let him go in this window and offers have to be above 10m euros, which seems a bit low to me. I'd have him down as a top 6 player, but I never thought we'd sign Deulofeu on a permanent and links are very good between Watford and Barca. You never know!!
She's an all court player so happy at baseline or newt or even net! Versatile with lovely single handed backhand so should fi the rigours of the PL.
Basically, Barcelona are confident that a deal can be done in this window. He's not in the plans of Valverde, although it's a surprise as it was expected the injury to Rafinha would have stopped any move from happening. However, Suarez has received some proposals from the Premier League, which he is interested in. Barcelona would not stand in his way if his valuation is met, which is over 10m euros. Suarez could have gone last summer, but wanted to stay and fight for his place, although Valverde is not using him too often. Everton, Watford and West Ham have all shown an interest in Denis. Bar*a believe that there is a strong possibility a transfer can happen before the end of January. Valverde would give the green light to an exit as it would help lower the wage bill and raise transfer funds.
The big boys are being linked now. https://www.90min.com/posts/6262852...st-barcelona-star-denis-suarez?utm_source=RSS
Classic Gino signing. Take stock of what you have in the first few months of the season, and then just think 'sod it, I'll buy another midfielder'.
'Marco Silva's Everton too are said to be eager to sign the former Manchester City youngster, presenting the player with plenty to think about.' Whether to call the new gaffer Ssssssilva or Sssnakey?
Quality player. If we've ANY hope of signing him, it will be because of: A) Our Spanish manager B) Deulofeu and perhaps other Spanish players (Kiko and Navarro?) C) Our position in the table D) First team selection I think the most determining factor though is how much we are willing to pay him, and unlike the other teams, we don't really tend to offer all that much. That said, we've supposedly (according to some bloke on Twitter) freed up about £4 million on wages after getting rid of Kaboul, Okaka and Zeegelaar. Would be a fantastic replacement for Doucoure if rumours are true and i've had plenty of joy using him in some of my career's on Football Manager (cost me £17million in 2018 and achieved roughly 220 apps of which I then started a new game).
I just can’t believe we are even mentioned in the same article as Everton. What an honour! Can’t wait to tell the grandchildren this memorable moment one day. It’s one I will cherish forever. Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow!
If you told me X years ago that we would be linked with players with fancy names from Barcelona, I’d have never believed you. Just to be linked is MASSIVE for a club like ours.
Looking at the YouTube vid with the fancy music, he seems to link up with that Lionel fella quite well, could they come as a pair? Otherwise, Gray and Suarez could be a match made in heaven.
Os at the end would make them Aussies - not exactly noted for being good footballers in recent years.
They could play as a three behind Deeney, which I'm sure they all dreamed about whilst grinding away at Barca/Juve.
Yeah Yeah another midfielder but this really would be an incredible signing. We seem to have a good relationship with Barcelona and I imagine from that pic posted earlier he is friendly with G.D. so we may have half a chance.
I assume as with Alpaca in the summer we're being us as a stick to force these players out of Barca? "You better take the move we want you to take you naughty man or we'll send you to Watford" They probably have blown up pictures of the ring road in some sort of punishment room at the training ground.
And GD trapped in the Ice treatment room, with a photoshopped picture of Vydra in the background and Bassini running off with the key. They won't know what it means, but they won't like it.
Has he actually had any more impact on football than Deulofeu? I think it's marginal if he has and he isn't going to play for Barca, so not far-fetched.
Off to Arsenal... Solhekol on Twitter. Played with Emery at Sevilla. Also allows him to push Ozil out the door!
