DAY 2 - Werewolf 2018

For what its worth I don't think Daft Row is trying to claim he is the seer. He will still be getting my vote though. There is no one else to logically vote for at the moment, and this might help with the message paper trail.

 

I was alerting the seer and baiting the wolf.

It’s vital that the messengers gives us a history of people they’ve gone for. We can use this later to find people innocent or evil.

As a very simplified example, say:

Poster 1 says ABC are good
Poster 2 says DEF are good.

If F is found to be good, or C is found to be evil, we know that D and E are also good. It only helps team good in the long run to have a history associated to each post.

 

The way I see it, it's win win.

Daft is good. Norway is confirmed good. Messages will be confirmed. I know 3 100% confirmed good and will hopefully get a 4th name tonight.

Daft is bad. We get an evil.

 

You might want to explain that to Mrs. Row and all the little Row children

 

This assumes you aren't unlucky re: choice of person but agree with logic.

 

A barefaced lie I'm afraid. Whether you find the logic compelling or not, I've written extensively about why it would be unlikely that a wolf would reply so soon after Meh mentioning them. In fact, I banged on about it so much, that I bored Meh senseless and he decided not to reply anymore about it.

 

As am I Dom but we won't know until we vote and that there in lies the problem. If we vote someone else we won't be able to determine who sent what messages

I agree, the first message could be from the seer or wolf.

I'm going for DR on the lack of any other credible theories.

 

If the wolf is the second message then I reckon the best thing they could've done today was also declare Daft good. Would've completely screwed us over.

As it is its given us so much to go on after the result.

 

Blimey a lot to read there. Have to echo other comments that I think the second message is from the wolf but at the same time, daft row has been named as evil (and good!) and his reaction is a bit suspect.

I think it was moog who said something along the lines of imagine if we didn't lynch someone named and later found out they were evil.

The alpha doesn't even know the identity of the other wolf or the traitor so it's even possible they've tried to confuse us but actually named an evil as evil!

 

Impossible as the other message says he is good.

Yup, it's a sting if you get caught up in a message. I've never made to the end of any game.

On the basis that I can't see what new evidence is going to come to light in the 90 odd minutes and that I'm off to have my dinner (!) I'm going to vote for you (Daft Row) I'm afraid. You are very probably good but have to vote for someone and you have the most doubt (albeit not much).

You’d make a great politician; you’ve given an answer to whether you ever commented on the allogations. You ignored my later comment presumably because you didn’t want to revisit the point again.

There are only two people whose comments I trust in this game. I’ve been on the same evil side as Meh before, so quickly recognised he was innocent. The other (Diamond) I strongly believed was innocent and that fact has later been confirmed. Both hinted that your behaviour in this game was suspicious. I agree.

DR is the logical choice and I’m going to vote for him because it makes the most sense (I.e. clears Norway and reveals the author of the messages), but I think you’re hiding something.

Not entirely sure what that would prove. Both are logical thought out and sensible votes.

 

Nope. Its a common tactic for a wolf to distance themselves from the person they have named as evil, for the reason you have stated above. If they see a load of votes going towards that person, like DR, then they dont have to vote for that person themself. Thus we cant just look at those who have voted for Diamond and DR.

Need to keep our options open in my opinion.

Note I voted on Philippine Orn's behalf, he posted his choice much earlier but I gave him achance to get back on line.

 

I get Dom's reasoning. If DR turns out good, then maybe one of the people who voted for him could be the wolf who lied in the second anonymous message. However as I said above, its too narrow minded to do that. The wolf could easily just distance him or herself by voting elsewhere.

 

Can we know what time he voted just for info?
