    Yes musically great and so much energy. "Down in the sewer" remains a personal favourite.

    Forty years between the first and last time I saw them live.

    Same here and I have tickets to see them at Brixton in November, although pretty sure they'll cancel - it's not The Stranglers without those swirling keyboards and I doubt anyone could master playing them the way he did. More than any other member, he was the sound of The Stranglers. RIP to a musical genius.
