Given his form last season I'd say he is tough to leave out.

 

I've been told this is done. Not sure how I feel about it. Great record for England and I've always thought he looked good when fit.
If he is on a performance based contract with a low basic salary then great, Im all for it. The bloke has averaged 15 games a season since his debut 11 years ago.... to put that into perspective, its a bit more than Wilshere, but not by much.

 

He isn't fit yet by the way, 'coming back to full fitness' apparently. So selling the current 3 strikers would be a big risk.

 

I do admit before his injuries I had a soft spot for Danny Welbeck as a footballer. I used to tell my brother I thought he was going to be 'brilliant'. So blame me for putting the kiss of death on him lol.

A world class deal. If he is fit and plays he is a quality player and better than we have. If he doesn’t play we have lost £25k a week (chicken feed). Quite a bit of the time he wasnt playing at Arsenal, was that he was not first choice
