He's confirmed it on social media I would like to thank him for being one of the most dedicated of the Pozzo signings. I appreciated his footballing qualities, but also he took to the local community with the right spirit and clearly had a lot of love for the club. He also clocked up over 100 games for us. Good luck to him at Sheffield Wednesday.
Good luck to the man. He was like a Czech Tommy Moobey in terms of attitude, though never could've had the same impact as the great man for our club on its current trajectory.
Best of luck to him for a great season. I'm very very glad that apparently it's only a season long loan.
Started well for us but began to have less of an impact on games as his time he went on. Always had a good attitude though and hope his move is a success
Well he was never going to make the squad I suppose. I'm surprised it's only a loan rather than a permanent, given his age.
Very good going forward. Wednesday looking like contenders this year. Impossible to stay once Prodl arrived. Headache for the boss.
Good luck Dan. Premiership is probably a level too high for him, but you can never doubt his effort or commitment to the cause. Best of luck with the owls. Never again will the shoutbox erupt when those familiar words are uttered by Jon Marks, 'well it looks like Pudil is going to get booked here!'
This was always going to happen, a real top top pro on and off the pitch and seemed to enjoy his time at Watford, supporters ask for loyalty but players also ask for loyalty, really nice bloke when he was in Zizi no matter how pissed we were, good luck hope it works out for you. Not the most gifted player but always gave 100% and top attitude when dropped. All the best
Good Luck Dan and thanks for everything. It feels a bit like 'the end of a mini era' today as I believe he was our (joint) first signing under the Pozzos (with vydra)?
I can just imagine Bobby Robson trying to deal with a Pudil & a Prodl. Would've been very funny. Danny's a lovely guy & a good hard-working defender. Good luck to him at Wednesday.
Wednesday trying to secure him on a permanent deal during this window but we're not prepared to accept peanuts: http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foot...day-hitch-in-owls-bid-to-sign-pudil-1-7699495
I hope we don't stand in his way if it's best for his career, Daniel has been a great servant to us. At the same time, no one fleeces the Pozzo.
£1m should do it. I'd put his market value at about £1.5m - take off a third to get the deal done as a reward for his commitment and all parties get a good deal.
I agree totally, we wont get over a million for him I wouldn't have thought so I presume the difference is a couple of hundred grand, I think considering Pudil gave his all for us and him and his family seem happy in Sheffield it would seem a bit cruel to not grant him his move.
A great servant for the club, always gave 110%, just like Lloydinnio though without the longevity :sign15:
