The golfer is Greg Norman who does an advert for Reebok. The dog is Spit the Dog which is what I do every time I have ever stepped foot in Bolton. The tartan trouser design is an homage to Dougie Freedman who is obviously Scottish.

Swear these get easier every week.

The golfer is wearing a hat with the Japanese flag. The capital of Japan is Tokyo which is an anagram of Kyoto which used to be the capital of Japan. The mayor of Kyoto, Daisaku Kadokawa offices oversee the city's fire department and recently Kadokawa gave a medal of bravery to Fireman Okinowa for his heroics in tackling a blaze at the Imperial Palace. The CEO of Reebok is Paul Fireman.

The dog and golfer are red herrings - a popular food in Kyoto.

Christ alone knows. So many golf related nouns and that could be any animal. Plus meister will probably have added some obscure music reference as well

I do like the detail of the golfer wearing a glove though, you an see meister has scribbled it on over a normal hand

Excellent deduction. I wish this was the right answer but far too clever for me.

And the thing stood next to it? Is it a human at least?

Gopher spelled backwards is Rehpog which is Gaelic for a South African gazelle.

Must be something to do with the film Caddyshack - no idea what but that looks 'a bit' like the loud golfer....

The link is Michael Bolton, who sings "I'm Alright" and "Nobody's Fool", the themes from the films Caddyshack and Caddyshack II.

Not a bad attempt HB but can't see how Reebok fits into that.

That's as tenuous as a 3-2-1 clue at it's peak.

eg, a wishbone brought on by Sonny Hayes came with the clue:

"Take one that never changes, add a pub and a precious stone, bring them all up-to-date, and now, you're on your own.", which the contestants rejected hoping it referred to Dusty Bin. Rogers' explanation of the clue was: "'Take one that never changes', well, that could be Dusty Bin which of course is where you might throw a wishbone. 'Add a pub and a precious stone', well, that doesn't point to Dusty. 'Bring them all up-to-date, and now you're on your own.'. Well, what about the wishbone? Sonny said 'a large wishbone', so what might a large wishbone come from? Something larger than a chicken. Turkey, maybe? Now, 'one that never changes.' is a constant, a pub can also be an inn, there's a lot of precious stones but how many go with 'constant inn'? How about opal? Yes, Constantinople, up to date, the pride of Turkey, you've rejected a 3–2–1 holiday!

If that's real, that's brilliant, but I've not liked it out of fear that you've made it up.

Liked for the wonderful clip. Disliked for the wrong minutes. It's about 34 minutes in.

The whole country used to sit around and watch that programme every Sunday. How on earth did they get away with it?
