Leeds shoot themselves in the foot again - not utterly surprising.
What did surprise me is the bit in that article that says Leeds have only lost 3 league games this calendar year. If that's true - I haven't bothered to fact check it - then it makes the 3-2 win at their place look an even better result.

Deflected Boro goal puts them 1 up.

It's a shame, as the game was apparently quite cagey before then.

Now it's prob ten men behind the ball stuff.

I suspect Brentford and Boro will win.

Fancy Ipswich and Bournemouth to be a draw - like ours.

Now Norwich, Boro, Brentford and Wolves all winning.

The ref is poor and keeps giving everything to Boro.

    Edit: Think it is Atwell

Bournemouth trying to con the refs again.

Pitman dive, Wilson dive, Wilson shove off the ball and Bournemouth all over the ref from the start.

Just in case you thought there might be any change.

All the other teams Red Bull own have the brand featured in the name. New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig...

Seems likely that they'd want to do the same again if they were to take over Leeds.

Leeds United Red Bulls? Leeds Red Bulls United? Leeds Red Bulls?

If Hull can't get Hull City Tigers through I can't see Red Bull being allowed. Changing a clubs name is such a big thing that it would be an easy way to skirt round FFP in return for investment.

Leipzig are passionately disliked by all my German friends, so Red Bull should feel right at home in Leeds.

Ha, certainly does. They will be relegated if they lose on Tuesday.

1-0 Brentford in a huge game for Derby.

Amazing to think they were top in Feb I believe... Absolute implosion.

Millwall play Wigan on Tuesday. If that's a draw then you'd say Rotherham are pretty much safe and it's those two down to league one. Even more so if they can go to Fulham and win on Wednesday.

Rotherham have been charged for fielding an ineligible player in their win v Brighton recently, so could be deducted 3 points. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32287991

"Divisional rivals Blackpool were fined £30,000 earlier this campaign after fielding an ineligible player in their defeat by Millwall."

If thats all it is, a poxy fine, then lets keep Adlène Guedioura for the Sheff Weds game.

Difference is that they lost the game anyway, hence the fine.

If the points deduction goes through and Wigan win tomorrow then our rivals who are still to play them will be in for a harder game than expected.

Almost certainly a points deduction as they won the game, so as you say Otter, could be good news for us as I think they do have to play some of our rivals.

EDIT: Just looked it up Norwich have still got to play them away, so it really could be excellent news for us

The standings would stay the same but I don't think Rotherham, Millwall and Wigan fans would share your sentiments.

Might be good news if they are deducted points as they'd have to go for it against Norwich...

Well they will want to I suspect and the league say a ruling will be "quick"

Unless there's been a c*ck up beyond their control they can wave goodbye to the three points I'm sure.

Or a 'Furphy' as it is known in our house.

As Ken once said 'games in hand are not necessarily games won'.

    Wise words!

On one occasion walking up Harwoods Road to a game I said to my brother that x team 'had a Furphy'.

Seconds later we heard the small boy behind us say 'Daddy, what's a Furphy?'

    Never heard his reply!

Rotherham win tonight which means it's official, Wigan and Millwall relegated.

Millwall have sold over 1,300 (surprisingly) away tickets for Wolves away on Saturday, I wonder what risk category West Midlands Police have this one under.

Heard it's high risk so they're putting some community support officers at the bus station.

So what the hell happened to Wigan?

Last season they reached the Play-offs, reached the FA Cup semi-final, played in the Europa League (after winning the FA Cup the year before) and now in League 1...?
Dave Whelan's fault or something simpler?

The HH house is one of football extremes right now. Me at one end and Mr HH (Liverpool fan with family ties to Wigan) at the other. I have had to wipe the smug grin I've been wearing since Saturday off my face tonight. It's been very hard.
