After seeing the collisions involving both chelsea keepers it was a shocking piece of bad luck, though i find mourinos comments unjust and the FA will find the players perfectly vindicated for the parts they played. Hunt was well within his rights to go for that ball all be it a little late and sonko had taken off before Cudicini had met the ball and had no way out. It will be interesting to see how Hilario will perform against Barca on wednesday night, I wouldnt mind having someone of his quality as my third choice keeper.
You got that right. As for Hunt going for the ball, from what Is aw it looked like a fair challenge. As Shearer said on MOTD, to deliberately try to hurt a keeper using your knee would put your own career in jeapordy. Total accident IMO.
