Forestieri has done well enough at Sheff Wed to attract interest from Premier League clubs.

Neuton also believed strongly in the faux science of alchemy as well as being responsible for numerous counterfeiters being hanged drawn & quartered. So he's had a mixed career overall.

The processes of alchemy did lay the foundation for modern day chemistry, so maybe he was onto something.

The second most hated manager - Vialli (spelling?).

Good career at Chelsea, joined us the season after GOD retired then spend all our money on premiership rejects, almost bankrupt us and put us on the verge on administration. I think he's the goal; keeping coach at Luton Town now. Yeah he is, he told their goalie to score that own goal in the playoffs this season.

We had Agbonlahor (sp ?) on loan for a while. His career has been okay.

Of course he also married Olivia John, an Australia - English singer. Her lack of chart success during his spell at Watford made him look rather ponderous on the ball.

All pretty poor though and likely all leaving (Garner already left)

Pat Jenning's - Arsenal, Tottenham and Northern Ireland legend. Played in the World Cup at the age of 41.

Also scored in the 1967 Charity Shield Final.

I can't remember which footballing personality said it, but they said something along the lines of 'Had he been English, people would argue he was one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time'.

    Absolute gentleman too.

Sticking on the Northern Ireland theme, Chris Baird had a decent career after his loan spell with us.

Agree with Bellerin and Layun and I would add:

Dyche (dubious but was a player prior pre-pozzo), done well.
Ake, maybe not achieved more success but would definitely say his stock has risen off the back of his time with us.
Raffaele Riva, was chairman but now able to retire in comfort for fronting up on letter gate. Shrewd move at his age, makes him a player in my book.

Ken Furphy was the manager, hence a few ex WFC players doing well in the USA at the time!

Shame John Barnes, who graced the left wing with class, skill and poise, is now only noticed for the bitter rubbish he spouts.

...only surpassed these days by the likes of a Clive Of The Kremlin or a Moose.

Dale Bennett's Forest Green Rovers won the Conference (National league) play-off final. Nothing too amazing, but well done to him anyway.

I know Britt Assombalonga has been mentioned a few times in this thread already, but I think he's a good shout on the basis that we sold him for £1.2 million plus add-ons when he was our fifth-choice striker. We've managed to rake in more than £8m in total with the add-ons, and I don't think that's a bad total at all!

The only penalty I can recall Eddy missing for us was at Swindon in the 68-69 promotion year - Saturday evening after the Grand National and (supposed to be) the celebratory homecoming of League Cup winners Swindon. We beat them 1-0 with a goal by Endean - who did not go on to better things when he left Watford - but managed to score against us for Hartlepool in 75.....
